Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design a blueprint that can be used to meet the needs of business functions the Vocational High School of XYZ. In this research, the method used to design Enterprise Architecture was The Open Group Architecture Framework Architecture Development Method (TOGAF ADM). The phases of TOGAF ADM applied in this design are the Preliminary Phase, Architecture Vision Phase, Business Architecture Phase, Information System Architecture Phase, and Technology Phase. The results of this research in the form of preliminary phase up to the technology phase from the TOGAF ADM that can be used for information system development in the Vocational High School of XYZ so that the next research is expected can meet all the TOGAF ADM phases.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop an existing information system by designing a service, planning, and reporting system in the Cimahi City Revenue Management Agency Identification Sector. The method used is TOGAF-ADM so that it is more flexible in verifying various types of modelling techniques used in designing information systems. The steps implemented in this design are TOGAF ADM, including Preparation, Vision Architecture, Business Architecture, Information Systems Architecture, and Technology Architecture. Output from this stage will produce an enterprise architecture that can later be used by organizations to support business processes and achieve strategic goals. The results of the analysis of the application of the TOGAF ADM method are in the form of Company Architecture modelling which provides guidance in the development of information systems in the future in the Field of Identification of the Revenue Management Agency of Cimahi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Learning Management System (LMS) as an information technology-based learning medium for students of the Indonesian Computer University. This research method uses descriptive quantitative methods. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires using Google Form media and disseminating them via WhatsApp. The scope of the distribution of the questionnaire was limited to 34 respondents with the characteristics of semester 3 to semester 7 students. The results showed that the effectiveness of LMS as an information technology-based learning medium for Indonesian Computer University students was already effective. However, some students argue that face-to-face learning systems are more effective than using LMS. The results of this study conclude that LMS e-learning is effectively used as an Information Technology-based learning medium for students of the Indonesian Computer University. Learning can be said to be effective if the four indicators of learning effectiveness are effective. LMS effectiveness indicators consist of quality, facilities, student readiness to use, and readiness to receive and understand course material.
