Abstract

The title of this research is " Analysis of Raw Material Inventory Management Efficiency Cost Of At PT Menaracipta Metalindo "Objective: For Know What Is The Role of Inventory Control Raw Material Costs Against efficiency at PT Menaracipta Metalindo. Methods: Data collection method for preparation of this study, Field Method Using Risearch , for analysis technique used is the analysis of Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) , Analysis of TIC (Total Inventory Cost Analysis And RE orders Point. RESULTS: From the results obtained that the role of inventories of raw materials that the company is less efficient because it is based on calculations that have been done obtained total inventory cost of raw materials amounting to Rp 30.02385 million while the while the calculation using the EOQ method total inventory cost of materials Rp 24,010,997. It ii EOQ method more efficient means of Rp 5.92185 million. Therefore, the company should use EOQ method.

Abstract

Abstrak: PT Bridgestone Tire Indonesia adalah perusahaan otomotif yang memproduksi ban mobil. Perusahaan telah lama menggunakan kaizen dalam kegiatan produksinya, tetapi saat ini proses produksi sering mengalami masalah oleh karena itu proses produksi menjadi tidak efisien dan kualitas produk menjadi tidak sesuai dengan standar kualitas. Oleh sebab itu, tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk memperbaiki atau menerapkan kaizen di area kerja untuk mengetahui bagaimana kaizen dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas produk. Arti kaizen adalah perbaikan secara terus menerus dan mempunyai tujuan untuk meningkatkan keselamatan kerja, kualitas, produktivitas dan biaya. Konsep yang biasanya digunakan adalah konsep rencana, lakukan, periksa, dan laksanakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, perbaikan yang dilakukan bagian Banbury dengan menambahkan stopper pada bagian mesin yang bermasalah. Hasil dari perbaikan dapat mengurangi biaya produksi Rp 180 juta/bulan dengan menghilangkan loss time produksi, menghemat energi, mengurangi kerusakan materi dan mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan kerja dan membuat kualitas menjadi standar. Kata kunci : Efisien, kaizen, kualitas, perbaikan terus menerus, PDCA. Abstrak: PT Bridgestone Tire Indonesia is a automotive company that manufactures a tires. The company has long time used kaizen in their production activities,but in this time in the production process often occus trouble, so that the production process become inefficient and the quality of part become incompatible with company quality standars. Therefore, the objective of this study was to do repairs in work area or implement kaizen to know how kaizen can improve efficiency and product quality. The means of kaizen is continuous improvement and have aimed to increase safety, quality, production dan cost. The usually concept used is the PDCA concept (Plan, Do, Check, Action). Based on the results of research on the improvements made banbury by adding “stopper” on the part of the engine trouble.the results of these improvements can reduce production cost of 180 million/month by eliminating the loss time production and loss energy, reducing scrap material, and to prevent potential accidents and making quailty into standards. Abstract

Quality is the most basic thing in an industry, especially for the dairy and dairy products industry. Total Quality Management (TQM) is a system used to implement standards for quality improvement and is the company's commitment to quality development which involves all elements of employees so that they can compete globally. The purpose of this study was to find out how the influence of TQM implementation on customer satisfaction at the operational division of PT Frisian Flag Indonesia (FFI). PT FFI is a manufacturer of dairy-based nutritional products for children in Indonesia under the Frisian Flag brand, which is also known as Susu Bendera. The research method used is descriptive qualitative data analysis obtained through observation, interviews and documentation to be used to strengthen the data when comparing theory with implementation in the field. The results showed that the implementation of TQM at PT FFI had a 61% effect on reducing customer complaints. However, in practice, employee involvement must still be a concern because there are still employees who do not play an active role in implementing TQM, while the principles and components of TQM explain that the active involvement of all employees is required.
