Abstract

The reseach aims to identify necessities of students with disability post-Senior High School, either in inclusive school or special school. The purpose of this research is to describe the necessities of student with disability post-Senior High School. Therefore, students's planning post-Senior High School will be the priority in this research. The reseach used a qualitative method. The focuses of this research are, first, history of Special School. Second, the sight of special schol towards inclusive education. Third, identification of ideal school for students with disability. Fourth, identification of students's planning post-Senior Hgh School. The locations of this research are, first, SLB Negeri Semarang (Public Special School of Semarang). Second, SLB YPTB Malang (YPTB Special School), Third, Universitas Brawijaya (Brawijaya University). The method of collecting data in this research uses observation, interview, and documentation. The conclusions obtained from this research are, first, both of special school in this research have not special program to equip the students post-Senior High School. Second, 67,85% of students with disability planned to seek ajob post-Senior High School. Third, 42,85% of students with disability estimate themselves having the opportunity to carry on their education in University, but that is not their priority.

Abstract

This research is done based on the point of view of the researcher in viewing the limited access of college education for students with disabilities. In line to the social model of disability, researcher views that the limited access caused by environment and social system which is not able in accommodating the needs of students with disabilities. As a consequence of the condition, students with disabilities do not have space and chance to actualize themselves. The limited access is also caused by the stereotypes which put them to the social exclusion. Social exclusion can be minimized by applying the concept of inclusivity. The presence of inclusivity concept in the education world gives the new light to the students with disabilities in accessing education. But, this education concept has not applied yet in the college. This research is due to initiate Universitas Brawijaya becomes the pioneer and the model of the first inclusive campus in Indonesia.The method of research used in this research is qualitative method with the action research approach. The focuses of this research are, first, the process of policy advocacy to the inclusive campus to the students with disabilities in Universitas Brawijaya. Second, the policy formulation process of inclusive campus to the students with disabilities. Third, is the effect of inclusive campus to the students with disabilities in Universitas Brawijaya. The location of this research is in Universitas Brawijaya, Malang. The method of collecting data uses observation, interview, and documentation.The conclusions obtained from this research are, first, advocacy done by advocacy team and researcher achieved the expected goal successfully. Second, Universitas Brawijaya accepted the grand design of inclusive campus offered by the advocacy team. Third, Universitas Brawijaya built Center for Disability Studies and Services (CDSS) which was known as the new institution focusing on the services and studies related to the disabilities issues. Fourth, Universitas Brawijaya opened the Special Selection Program to the Students with Disabilities (SSPSD) and serves 20 quotas for students with disabilities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the organizational climate change process in Mandiri Contact Center (MCC) Yogyakarta which employs people with disabilities since the implementation of the Mandiri Kriya Difabel Program. A qualitative method with an instrumental case study approach is used in this study. To collect the data, the researcher uses interview, observation and documentation study technique. The results show that by implementing an inclusive human resource management, the Mandiri Kriya Difabel Program has succeeded to change an exclusive organizational climate into an inclusive disability organizational climate. This is the first study which combines Lewin's Three Step Change Model, Social Model of Disability, and Inclusive Dimensions on Organizational Climate as a framework to research a disability inclusive organizational climate change. This research provides an inclusive method to manage employees with disabilities and a new academic reference on organizational change study.
