Abstract

Majlis ta’lim is a necessity for the development of the reality of religious populism today. This type of religious group is a forum for the socio-political cultural structuring of today’s society. So that these religious groups have a role in constructing the social life of the community. In this context, the majlis ta’lim is deemed to have an interest in producing its discourse. Of course, everyone has understood that the religious discourse of religious assemblies (majlis) has a strong influence on the order of social life. The last fact was found that today’s religious assemblies (majlis) tend to contest, especially in the world of politics. On such problems, this research is important to do. The important issue that must be studied is how the awareness and religious views of the majlis ta’lim in seeing the various religious discourses that have existed so far that have been there? And how is the typology of discourse developed in response to it? Through a qualitative approach in the intentionality or Franz Brentano model of action qualitative approach, the research problem is trying to be studied. The result is an important picture of discourse production developed by this majlis. The conclusion is that the discourse production developed by this majlis has two different and contradictory typologies. The difference is the attitudes and religious values ​​developed in religious discourse.

Abstract

Some experts try to develop a variety of conceptual perspectives to find the best and most efficient learning approach design. Likewise, Muslim scholars also seem to be trying to contribute to the development of learning approaches. This article attempts to reveal the idea of Imam Al Ghozal as an Islamic scholar's perspective. The focus studied is the content of the book ayyuhā al-walad fī nasīhati al-muta'allimīn wa maw'izatihim liya'lamū wa yumayyizū 'ilman nāfi'an min gayrihi and efforts to formulate the perspective learning approach of the book. The study was carried out with a library research approach with content analysis techniques. The findings of the study provide a conclusion that the formulation of a learning approach needs to be directed at strengthening general science and religion in a balanced way. Not only strengthening religious scholarship, al Ghozali's ideas in the book studied emphasize the theocentric transformation to theo-anthrophocentric in religious learning.

Abstract

Radical Islam, as the basis of political movements, has been widely studied by scholars and political observers. The existing study efforts have produced many findings based on the perspectives and approaches used from an economic, social, cultural, to theological point of view. However, there still needs to be an Islamic ethical perspective to examine the model of the Islamic political movement. This article examines the thoughts of Abid Al-Jabiri regarding the concept of social ethics from a new point of view. This library research describes Al-Jabiri's ethical thinking based on his works. The results of this study indicate 1) The roots of the emergence of the political Islam movement departed from a literalist understanding of Islamic teachings so that the political goal to establish an Islamic state in Indonesia was born from a misinterpretation of Islamic teachings 2) The contours of the movement were identity politics born of the dichotomous paradigm 3) and the consequences This movement contradicts Al-Jabiri's Islamic ethical thought which emphasizes the public benefit and goodness because the acts of terror carried out have no implications for the benefit of the Indonesian people.

Abstract

Pasar budaya merupakan kegiatan tahunan yang diadakan oleh salah satu organisasi ekstra kampus yang ada di UIN KHAS Jember yaitu organisasi PMII rayon FTIK. Kegiatan pasar budaya ini merupakan kegiatan dimana para organisasi daerah asal mahasiswa yang ada di UIN KHAS Jember di wadahi untuk menampilkan kebudayaan daerah asalnya. Dalam pelaksanaannya, ada berbagai macam kegiatan yang dilakukan dimulai dari pasar tradisional, tari kontemporer, dan festival carnaval Budaya (pagelaran musik budaya dan fashion carnaval). Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pendekatan etnopedagogi sebagai media pelestarian kearifan lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis pendekatan kualitatif, dan menggunakan metode penelitian studi kasus. Sedangkan dalam proses pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pemanfaatan ampas tebu sebagai sumber tepung tebu dalam rangka meningkatkan potensi ekonomi mikro di Desa Wonokusumo. Tebu, sebagai tanaman penting dalam industri pangan, memiliki potensi yang belum sepenuhnya dimanfaatkan, terutama pada bagian ampasnya. Penelitian kualitatif digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi alat, bahan, dan proses pembuatan tepung tebu. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tepung tebu dapat dihasilkan dengan menggunakan ampas tebu sebagai bahan baku utama. Tepung tebu memiliki keunggulan gula alami yang dapat meningkatkan nilai tambah produk pangan lokal. Metode penelitian melibatkan partisipasi aktif masyarakat setempat, melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam proses produksi tepung tebu. Analisis SWOT dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi potensi dan kendala dalam pemanfaatan produk tepung tebu di pasar lokal. Diharapkan, inisiatif ini dapat membuka peluang usaha baru, meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat setempat, dan memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap ekonomi desa.

Abstract

Modernity has provided a distinction between religion and science as advised by Western secularization. However, the Indonesian administration does not practice such a treatment, even the structure of the field of Islamic studies in educational schools indicates a link between religion and science. This article aims to comprehend 1) the interrelation of religion and science in the Islamic studies field structure, 2) the forming background of the paradigm of the Islamic studies structure as a critical study, and 3) its implications for the Islamic studies development in Indonesia. To bridge the discussion of this problem, the relevant descriptive research method is used to collect library data. The study found that 1) the Islamic studies field structure is integrative, 2) the forming backgroun of the typology formation cannot escape the influence of Western education culture on Muslim scientists as well as the Indonesian values that regards religious and state values in a symbiotic way, and 3) the impact of Islamic scholarship integration toward paradigm on systems and learning methods in Indonesia. Modernitas telah memisahkan antara agama dan sains sebagaimana dalam sekularisasi Barat. Namun, perlakuan seperti itu tidak dilakukan oleh pemerintah Indonesia, bahkan struktur bidang studi Islam di lembaga-lembaga pendidikan menunjukkan adanya keterkaitan antara agama dan sains. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memahami 1) keterkaitan agama dan sains dalam struktur bidang studi Islam, 2) latar belakang pembentukan paradigma struktur studi Islam sebagai studi kritis, dan 3) implikasinya bagi perkembangan studi Islam di Indonesia. Untuk menjembatani pembahasan masalah ini, metode penelitian deskriptif yang relevan digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kepustakaan. Dalam kajian ini, ditemukan bahwa 1) struktur bidang kajian Islam bersifat integratif, 2) latar belakang pembentuk pembentukan tipologi tidak lepas dari pengaruh budaya pendidikan Barat terhadap ilmuwan Muslim serta nilai-nilai Indonesia yang memandang nilai agama dan negara secara simbiosis, dan 3) dampak integrasi keilmuan Islam terhadap paradigma sistem dan metode pembelajaran di Indonesia.
