Abstract

This conceptual article overviews the policy in implementing native-spearism-based English language proficiency tests at Politeknik Negeri Samarinda in connection to the ELT curriculum in which English is being a foreign language in Indonesia.  Representation of native-speakerism itself does not culturally and politically provide equality to all test candidates. Making a national standardized test would be a solution on the status quo.
