<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian menganalisa efektivitas penyidikan tindak pidana ujaran kebencian di Polda Sulsel; mengetahui dan menganalisa mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas penyidikan tindak pidana ujaran kebencian di Polda Sulsel. Metode penelitian menggunakan tipe penelitian hukum normatif dan hukum empiris. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penyidikan tindak pidana ujaran kebencian di Polda Sulselkurang efektif karna penyidikan di dasarkan minimnya kasus yang di limpahkan ke kejaksaan negri Makassar.Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas penyidikan tindak pidana ujaran kebencian di Polda Sulsel adalah faktor substansi hukum, faktor sumber daya manusia, faktor sarana dan prasarana, faktor kesadaran hukum masyarakat. Rekomendasi penelitian ini bahwa untuk mengefektifkan penyidikan tindak pidana ujaran kebencian di polda Sulsel maka kepolisian harus bertindak lebih tegas dalam penanganan tindak pidana ujaran kebencian karna kepolisian berperan dari proses penyidikan hingga ke tahap penahanan polisi memiliki wewenang untuk menentukan siapa yang patut di sidik, ditangkap dan di tahan.
