Abstract

The background of this research originated from the admiration of the author of the book Habis Gelap Terbitlah Terang by R.A. Kartini who has an extraordinary spirit in fighting for the dignity of women. Women who are not valued, are not recognized, and do no have the opportunity to develop themselves during the R.A. Kartini, now has freedom. His dignity and recognition are recognized by the community. But along with the development of the era that was so extraordinary. Book Habis Gelap Terbitlah Terang began to be forgotten by the people. This research included qualitative research and the type of research that the authors do is library research. The research approach used is the historical approach. The method of data collection in this study is adjusted to the type of research conducted, namely the research library, then the right data collection method is the collection and documentation method. Data analysis in this study uses content analysis method. Based on the results of research conducted by the author about the concept of the dignity of women in view of R.A. Kartini can be concluded that the concept of the dignity of women in the view of R.A. Kartini has seven concepts: educated women, virtuous women, skilled women, free women who are civilized and educated, men collaborate with women, women who are knowledgeable about religion, and delete the caste system in society. The seven concepts have a close relationship to Islamic education which is focused on the goal of Islamic education, namely facilitates women to develop themselves, both in the realm of individuals, families, social and in work so that we create human being.

Abstract

This article discusses the habituation of spirituality for students at SMK Daya Wangsa Wonogiri, in order to produce students who have both intellectual and spiritual competence, so that in the future students will become role models in community life. This article uses qualitative methods. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. There are three research results. First, spirituality at SMK Daya Wangsa Wonogiri is carried out through the congregational Dhuha and Zhuhr prayer; and recite Al-Qur’an before lessons begin. Second, teachers play an important role in spiritual habituation activities, through their role as role models, educators and givers of rewards and punishments. Third, supporting factors for the habit of spirituality include the role of teachers, student awareness, adequate facilities, a conducive environment and cooperation from various stakeholders. Meanwhile, factors inhibiting the habit of spirituality include students’ different backgrounds, not being fluent in reciting Al-Qur’an, being late and being absent intentionally. Artikel ini membahas tentang pembiasaan spiritualitas bagi siswa di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Daya Wangsa Wonogiri, dalam rangka mencetak siswa yang memiliki kompetensi intelektual sekaligus spiritual, agar kelak siswa menjadi teladan di kehidupan masyarakat. Artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Ada tiga hasil penelitian. Pertama, pembiasaan spiritualitas di SMK Daya Wangsa Wonogiri dilakukan melalui kegiatan shalat sunah Dhuha dan shalat Zhuhur berjamaah; serta mengaji Al-Qur’an sebelum pelajaran dimulai. Kedua, guru berperan penting dalam kegiatan pembiasaan spiritualitas, melalui perannya sebagai teladan, pendidik serta pemberi penghargaan dan hukuman. Ketiga, Faktor pendukung pembiasaan spiritualitas meliputi peran guru, kesadaran siswa, fasilitas yang memadai, lingkungan yang kondusif dan kerjasama berbagai pihak. Sedangkan faktor penghambat pembiasaan spiritualitas meliputi latar belakang siswa yang beragam, belum lancar mengaji, terlambat dan absen secara sengaja. Kata Kunci: Metode Pembiasaan; Nilai-Nilai; SMK Daya Wangsa; Spiritualitas Siswa.

The purpose of this study, first, is to find out the values of emotional intelligence perspective of Daniel Goleman. Second, to know the integration of the values of emotional intelligence perspective of Daniel Goleman in the Qur'an. This type of research is literature research. Data are taken from various scientific literature sources such as books, journals, and various types of scientific papers relevant to research studies. Data collection techniques use documentation techniques, then analyzed with content analysis methods. The results of this study are: emotional intelligence according to Daniel Goleman includes five aspects, namely self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy and social skills. These five aspects cannot be possessed suddenly, but require a process in learning them and the environment has a great influence in shaping emotional intelligence. The Qur'an discusses these five aspects in detail and thoroughly as a guide for Muslims to guide them in living their daily lives. First, the aspect of self-awareness (QS. An-Nisaa: 1, QS. Al-Hashr: 18). Second, the aspect of self-regulation (QS. Ar-Rad: 28). Third, the motivation aspect (QS. Adz-Dzaariyat: 56, QS. Al-An'aam: 162, QS. Ar-Ra'd: 11, QS. Al-Qashash: 77, QS. Al-Maidah: 48). Fourth, the aspect of empathy (QS. Al-Balad: 17, QS. Maryam: 96, QS. An-Nisaa': 1). Fifth, aspects of social skills (QS. Al-Maa'idah: 2, QS. Ali-Imran: 103, QS. An-Nisaa: 59, QS. An-Nisa: 114).
