Abstract

This study discusses the impact of organizational experience while in college on career development and leadership spirit among students. Qualitative study by taking 84 students as respondents at the Bekasi Muhammadiyah Business Institute campus in the period February 2021. This study uses a questionnaire as the main tool in collecting opinions. The results of this study are, students who actively participate in student organization activities or when they are in the same school as OSIS, have a greater chance of being accepted for work, and have a wider perception of positive leadership styles

Abstract

The creative economy becomes the major survivor and its growth increased during the COVID19 pandemic. Several sectors in the industry that prioritize creativity and art are increasing in demand. An example is the independent book publishing business, although it is still a micro, small and medium scale business, the business of publishing books through independent channels is increasingly in demand by writers to publish their books in this UMKM scale publisher. On the one hand, readers are also enlivening e-books, aka more and more fond of reading books through online applications. In contrast to the development of this independent publication, several major publishers with retail networks throughout Indonesia were forced to deactivate their outlets during the pandemic, due to the PSBB policy. Therefore, this research focuses on how the creative economy, in this case independent publishing, is able to support the people's economy during the pandemic.

Abstract

Tunas Alam Mulia Foundation which is located in Bantargebang Bekasi is one of the foundations that have a household business. From this household business, it is hoped that it can support the daily needs of the residents of the foundation. Several household businesses have been endeavored by the Tunas Alam Mulia Foundation. However, in the efforts that have been done, there were several obstacles faced, one of which is marketing. This year's PKM (Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat) activities were designed and implemented by IBM (Institut Muhammadiyah Bekasi) Bekasi at the Alam Tunas Mulia Foundation to take the idea and initiate Digital Marketing Product Training activities to provide solutions to the obstacles faced by the Tunas Alam Mulia Foundation. This training was attended by selected 15 students of the Tunas Alam Mulia Foundation. This activity is carried out with the presentation method of providing material on Digital Marketing Products and marketing practices via social media and the internet.

Abstract

The problem raised in this research is how the role of the government in the economic recovery of UMKM in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic in the technology sector (PaDi UMKM) and the concept used on the platform with the research method used is qualitative research which is library research, this research is obtained by conducting studies that come from research, books, news and statistical data about information on PaDi UMKM.

Abstract

The influence of the socio-economic conditions of parents on students' interest in school has been investigated at the Tunas Mulia Bantargebang Foundation, Bekasi City. The sample of this research is the parents of students as many as 30 respondents which are determined by random sampling of the total number of parents of students. This research is a quantitative study using a questionnaire instrument developed from an instrument grid. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that: the economic conditions of the surrounding community, especially the parents/guardians of the Tunas Alam Mulia Foundation students, belong to the middle to lower scale, where the average community does not have a steady income.

Abstract

Secondary-level education, especially SMK has a unique character in producing graduates who are ready to work. The real potential of SMK graduates is not only ready to work, but has a great opportunity to participate in developing the economy through entrepreneurship. On this basis, research on the development of entrepreneurship was then carried out on students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bekasi using the AL (Active Learning) method. The basic principle of the AL method is the involvement of students in the active learning process of participants in entrepreneurship. The type of business conveyed was the manufacture of Baitullah- scented Hand sanitiser products with learning materials from the introduction of raw materials to the calculation of the Cost of Goods. Meanwhile, the AL learning stage itself starts from the delivery of material to the opportunity for students and students to make presentations. The results of the response of students and students to the implementation of Active Learning from the questionnaire obtained by 86% of students expressed satisfaction with this learning. However, there are still some students who are not satisfied to be able to review the improvements in the application of learning.
