Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Moodle's LMS (Learning Management System) media on student learning outcomes and activity levels. The research sample was determined using purposive sampling technique, namely students who took the research methodology course. The data collection technique used a learning outcome test instrument. From the data analysis, it was obtained that the students' pretest average score was 55.76 and the standard deviation was 7.13 with the highest score of 75 and the lowest was 46. After the material was taught from the post-test results, it was obtained an average of 90.26 and a standard deviation of 1.75 with the highest score of 94 and the lowest of The average level of student activity was 68.98 and a standard deviation of 2.65 with the highest score of 95 and the lowest was 79. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the application of Moodle's LMS (Learning Management System) media in learning had a positive impact on student learning outcomes and activities.

Abstract

−The quality of learning can be seen from the relationship between the ability of lecturers in carrying out learning and the learning climate to produce optimal student learning processes and outcomes in accordance with the demands of the current curriculum. Case Based Learning (CBL) is one of the learning methods for Student Center Learning (SCL). The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the application of the CBL model on student learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative Quasi experiment with a Pretest-Posttest Control approach with a control group. The samples taken were 32 experimental class and 31 control class using Simple Random Sampling technique. The results showed that there was a significant effect on student learning outcomes after the CBL model was applied. The CBL model is one of the innovative and effective methods in developing student knowledge in learning so as to obtain better learning outcomes

Abstract

Background: The fungus Beauveria bassiana (Balsamo) Vuill is an entomopathogenic fungus widely used as a biological control agent against insect pests in plantation, food, and horticultural crops. Beyond its role as a biocontrol agent, B. bassiana has also been reported to enhance seed germination and early growth of shallot plants. Objective: his study aimed to determine the germination response of shallot seeds (Allium ascalonicum L.) to seed soaking treatment using B. bassiana at varying concentrations and soaking durations. Methods: TA field experiment was conducted from January to March 2026 using a factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with two factors: concentration (V) and soaking duration (P). Parameters observed included germination percentage, germination rate, shoot height, leaf number, leaf length, root length. Results: The results showed that the concentration of 15 ml/L (V3) gave the best effect on all parameters, while the soaking duration of 9 hours (P1) was optimal and not significantly different from longer soaking durations. The combination treatment of V3P1 (15 ml/L + 9 hours) produced the highest germination percentage (35% at 25 days after planting), the best germination speed (11.3 days), as well as superior shoot height and root length. The ability of B. bassiana to enhance growth is thought to be due to the production of phytohormones such as auxin and gibberellin. Conclusions: In conclusion, soaking shallot seeds in a suspension of B. bassiana at a concentration of 15 ml/L for 9 hours is recommended to improve seed viability and growth
