Abstract

Al-Ghazali was a sufism and a “faqih”. He was a smart and intelligent one. He knew of how to combine the ability of “fiqh” and sufism. In combining the two knowledges, he usually saw the internal aspects between the two eventhough they were different focus of study, but they were could not be separated each other. He thought that sufism gave something important to ‘Fiqh” because they sould standed together.

Abstract

Murtadha Muthahari was one of the greatest Muslim philosophers in the 20th century. Muthahari saw philosophy for him only as a tool and method in the practice of thought used to understand religion and as a basis for maintaining it. In this paper, the author tries to discuss Muthahari's thoughts on Tawheed and justice. In his mind, Muthahari always departed from the truth - the truth of religion, to then understand it, interpret it and defend it with philosophical arguments, in the sense that Muthahari was a philosophical theologian.

Abstract

In the development of modernity, Religion is often criticized, which then in response to that criticism, people began to question again and look for the most authentic relationship between religion and modern problems. The response appears in various forms of renewal of religious understanding based on the context that occurs. Among the forms of renewal, it is colored by the emergence of Hasan Hanafi's contextual theology with liberation theology, Modernist Theology that desires to modernize the Muslims, trans formative theology that wants to realize the transformation of Muslims societies and inclusive theology that invites Muslims to live an Inclusive religious life, tolerance and respect for religious pluralism. This research is library research with a focus on contemporary contextual theology. Data is collected through documentation techniques that collect data contained in various books, printed journals and online journals. The data that the author has collected was then analyzed deductively. From this research, it can be concluded that this contextual theology talks about God and His relationship with humans both based on revelation and reason. While contemporary theology is theological thoughts that emerged in contemporary times, which emerged to modernize or advance Muslims, realizing the transformation of Muslim society so that they can achieve progress, and the development of religious understanding and life that is inclusive, tolerant, and respectful of religious pluralism.

Abstract

The development of the times and technology has changed the human perspective on spiritual values. This sometimes causes the presence of various flavors in the human soul. Be it peace, happiness or otherwise a sense of anxiety, discomfort, and sadness, all of which lead to the human heart, Allah gives ease to His servants in following the path of goodness and turns them away from badness and evil. Paying attention to things that can cleanse the soul and soften the heart so that it is always obedient to the shari'ah of Allah, is one of the greatest factors of goodness in this world and in the hereafter. Desire and equanimity can only be achieved if he reaches Allah. As for achieving it, a healthy and clean heart is needed, because the estuary of happiness and misery is the heart. The heart will only feel happy with sincerity to Allah. The heart will feel calm with remembrance and obey Allah. The way to achieve happiness and peace of mind is to pay attention, improve, and treat heart diseases so that they always obey His Rabb. The lucky person is the one who gets Allah's ressistance and the lowly and despicable is the one who is hindered from Allah's help. How to get happiness, serenity, help and guidance from Allah? This is what will be discussed in this study. In this study, we discuss how to achieve peace of mind through tazkiyat an-Nafs (purification of the heart or soul). Tazkiyat an-Nafs itself is an attempt to filter out the bad and dirty things from the soul, so that what comes out of the soul is the good one. Tazkiyat an-Nafs is done by following the Apostle who oversees guiding his people through the verses of Allah, through worship through the Shari'a way.

Abstract

This article aims at analyzing spiritual intelligence based education since the basically, the goal of education is to build perfect human (insan kamil). Such goal can be realized as long as the pupils are able to integrate all of their potential intelligences. Those potentials are physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual intelligences. The integration of those intelligences is called spiritual intelligence. Furthermore, spiritual intelligence based education basically encourages the pupils to apply the values of spiritual (ilahiyat) in establishing relationship among humans and other creatures on the basis of God’s mercy.Kata kunci: pendidikan, kecerdasan ruhaniah

Abstract

In this article, the researcher tried to discuss the thinking way of Ibnu Sina about Islamic education, especially in teaching behaviour. It was due to teaching behaviour was the basic principle to achieve the target of teaching. For Ibnu Sina, the teaching behaviour could be explored through discussion and socialization among the children of the same age. It was because they had a sense of imitation. In teaching bahaviour, a teacher had to consider the children’s psychology because this might influence the successful of teaching. Meanwhile, as a medium of teaching behaviour, Ibnu Sina had used a poem as a tool to spread the value of good behaviour.Kata kunci: pemikiran, pendidikan, akhlak
