Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi distribusi partikulat Pb sebagai emisi gas buang kendaraan bermotor dengan teknik Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS). Sampel berupa tanah diambil pada dua lokasi berbeda dengan kedalaman 0 cm dan 15 cm dari lingkungan penduduk sekitar jalan raya. Perbandingan menggunakan sampel buatan berupa campuran PbCl2 dengan tanah. Sampel dipeletisasi dan ditembakan laser dalam mode Q-switching. Data penelitian berupa spektrum antara panjang gelombang dan intensitas. Spektrum yang terbentuk dari keseluruhan sampel menunjukan tidak adanya kandungan Pb yang terdeteksi. Unsur yang teridentifikasi adalah Magnesium (Mg), Besi (Fe), tungsten (W), Kalsium (Ca), Hidrogen (H), Oksigen (O2), Silikon (Si), Titanium (Ti), Natrium (Na), Mangan (Mn), Alumunium (Al), Thorium (Th), Tembaga (Cu). Spectral analysis to identify the distribution of particulate lead (Pb) as exhaust emissions of motorized vehicles has been done using Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS). The soil samples were taken at two different location with various depths 0 cm and 15 cm from population around the highway. Comparison was carried out by mixture of PbCl2 and soil. All samples were pelletized and ablated by Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser. The quantitative result shown in spectrum between wavelength and intensity.The spectrum were formed by all samples showed no detectable Pb content. The indentified elements are Magnesium (Mg), Iron (Fe), Tungsten (W), Calcium (Ca), Hydrogen (H), Oxygen (O2), Silicon (Si), Titanium (Ti), Sodium (Na), Manganese (Mn), Alumunium (Al), Thorium (Th), Copper (Cu).
