Abstract

Abstrak: “Analisis Estetika dan Semiotik Motif Batik Tulis di Kecamatan Kebumen Kabupaten Kebumen”. Skripsi. Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo 2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis (1) estetika (keindahan) motif batik tulis di Desa Gemeksekti Kecamatan Kebumen Kabupaten Kebumen (2) makna simbolik motif batik tulis di Desa Gemeksekti Kecamatan Kebumen Kabupaten Kebumen. Penelitian ini berupa penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu hasil wawancara dengan informan, buku-buku, internet. Data dalam penelitian ini yaitu dokumentasi berupa; foto-foto, rekaman, video, serta referensi yang relevan dengan penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi partisipatif, teknik wawancara semiterstruktur, analisis dokumen yang berwujud foto, video rekaman hasil wawancara dengan informan, buku-buku, dan internet. Instrumen penelitian yaitu peneliti sendiri dibantu dengan alat tulis serta camera digital. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat di Desa Gemeksekti Kecamatan Kebumen Kabupaten Kebumen. Teknik analisis data ada tiga yaitu (1) reduksi, (2) penyajian data, dan (3) verification (penarikan kesimpulan). Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan waktu. Teknik penyajian hasil analisis menggunakan penyajian secara informal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) estetika motif batik tulis di Kecamatan Kebumen Kabupaten Kebumen dapat dilihat dari; (a) unsur-unsur estetika dalam motif batik; yaitu unsur garis, unsur shape (bangun), unsur texture (rasa permukaan bahan), unsur warna, intensity atau chroma, ruang dan waktu, (b) penggolongan motif batik berdasarkan aliran; aliran modern (kontemporer) dan aliran tradisional (klasik), dan (c) penggolongan motif batik berdasarkan bentuk; corak hias geometris dan corak hias non geometris, (2) makna simbolik dari motif batik tulis di Kecamatan Kebumen Kabupaten Kebumen yaitu berdasarkan keadaan daerah sekitar Kabupaten Kebumen, antara lain; (a) hewan, (b) tumbuh-tumbuhan, (c) alat, (d) keadaan alam, (e) makanan, dan (f) nama Ratu dari Kerajaan Thailand.   Kata kunci: estetika, semiotik, motif batik Kebumen

Abstract

Mastery of foreign languages, especially English is very important for every people. English is an international whose existence is needed in everything, especially in the world of education. Nursing students were not free from demans of mastering the English language caused many factors. The various needs mastery of English language by nursing students, English teaching materials should be developed and matched with their needs, one of them is to develop multimedia-based material models that used video, audio and image.The method of this research used research and development method. The population of this research were nursing students of STIKES Surya Global Yogyakarta. The technique and collecting data used observation, questioner and interview. Analysis of the data used central terdency measure.From the results obtained that the learning media is very interesting for students and make them motivated to learn more english language. The media can also help their language skills such as listening and speaking especially pronouncation. But there were still deficiencies in the facilities and tools of language laboratoty that inhibits in giving materials, and also the limited time of trial test so that the result of edia development has not been maximized.
