Abstract

This study starts from the invisibility of the phenomenon still homeroom yet communicate with a counselor about the problems faced by learners . It is characterized by the presence of counselors who have difficulty in implementing guidance and counseling services sbecause of time constraints and their homeroom to the counselor has not provided information related to the identity , record events and problems that occur in learners . The purpose of this study is to describe:1) Cooperation with the counselor in the administration of activities homeroom guidance and Counseling . 2) Cooperation with homeroom counselor in providing information about the learners . This type of research is classified as descriptive quantitative research . The population is all counselors and high school homeroom Dian Andalas Padang numbered 14 people . Sampling was done in total sampling with a sample size of 14 people. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire and analyzed by using percentages . The results of this study revealed that counselors cooperation with homeroom in the administration of guidance and counseling activities are in very good criteria and cooperation with homeroom counselor in providing information about the learners are at a very good criterion . It can be concluded that the better cooperation between the counselor and the class teacher will better the teachers in helping to overcome the problem of learners . This research was recommended to counselors and homeroom in order to maintain and increase its cooperation in addressing the problems experienced by learners .

Abstract

Abstract: Universitas Jember (UNEJ) Library is a university library that has implemented digital library principles which also pays attention to the provision of digital collections, both paid and open access. One of the available digital collections is the UnejDigiLib application which provides access to e-books. This study aims to describe the behavior of UNEJ Library users in using the UnejDigiLib application. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research population is UNEJ Library users, while the sample is taken from users who actively use the UnejDigiLib application. Data were taken from observations and interviews with 4 research subjects. The results showed that in using the UnejDigiLib application, users browsed for the desired title via the internet, used the search field to enter the desired title keywords, looked for other titles if the title they wanted was not found, read and noted down the important parts, and recommends the UnejDigiLib application to friends. Keywords university library; digital library; e-book application; UnejDigiLib; user behavior. Abstrak: UPA Perpustakaan Universitas Jember (UNEJ) adalah perpustakaan perguruan tinggi yang telah menerapkan prinsip-prinsip perpustakaan digital dengan memperhatikan penyediaan koleksi digital baik yang berbayar maupun akses terbuka (open access). Salah satu koleksi digital tersebut yaitu aplikasi UnejDigiLib yang menyediakan akses e-book. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran perilaku pemustaka UPA Perpustakaan UNEJ dalam menggunakan aplikasi UnejDigiLib. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi penelitian merupakan pemustaka UPA Perpustakaan UNEJ, sedangkan sampel diambil dari pemustaka yang aktif menggunakan aplikasi UnejDigiLib. Data diambil dari observasi dan wawancara dengan 4 orang subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam menggunakan aplikasi UnejDigiLib, pemustaka melakukan browsing judul yang diinginkan melalui internet, memanfaatkan kolom search untuk memasukkan kata kunci judul yang diinginkan, mencari judul lain bila judul yang mereka kehendaki tidak ditemukan, membaca dan mencatat bagian-bagian penting, dan merekomendasikan aplikasi UnejDigiLib kepada teman. Kata Kunci : perpustakaan perguruan tinggi; perpustakaan digital; aplikasi e-book, UnejDigiLib; perilaku pemustaka.
