Abstract

The industrial development in Wonoayu district contributes to economic growth in society. On the other hand, there is a shift of norms because of open information access that affects sexual intercourse among teenagers.    This results in an early marriage because the girls have already been pregnant. This research uses a qualitative approach in order to investigate the influential factors, causes, motives and impact of the early marriage, and how society’s view on early  marriage in Wonoayu district. The contributing factors of early marriages are sexual intercourse and pre-marital pregnancy. The motives of early marriage are; religiously legal marriage, reducing economic burden of parent, and preserving social reputation of their parents. Meanwhile the impact of legally formal marriage is to avoid sin and to protect the children’s status legally. Economically, the family in general is not ready to get married, and psychologically they are not mature yet, because they still have strong ego and are not independent.

Abstract

Based on the Con fu tse ’s teaching, life is a long journey without an end.Birth is an entrance to the world. Death is an exit door from the world. Life inhereafter is a continuation of life in the world. Therefore, all of the human’sdeed in the world will affect their life in hereafter. This article about deathceremony of Confucian is part of finding of my research on the religious lifedevelopment to the Chinese who believes in Confucion in Surakarta. Abstract

This paper is a summary of the research conducted in the province of Special Region of Yogyakarta, and put people in the Yogyakarta City, Sleman Regency and Kulonprogo Regency as sample. This research aimed to discribe people’s perception of the of kiai (Islamic scholars) in the field of empowerment for improving the quality of religious life and increasing religious harmony in Special Region of Yogyakarta. The analysis results showed that the kiai has considerable role for improving the religious diversity among community and improve the quality of religious harmony. The public view on the dimension of beliefs, rituals and social very negative an relatively small. This reality showed that Yogyakarta people’s religious knowledge was quite diverse, so there is a different perception. People’s perception of the role of kiai in improving the quality of religious life and religious harmony based on the social background of respondents of all categories, respondents said that kiai have positive role.

Abstract

Naikolan is name of one village in the city of Kupang, East Nusa Tenggararegion. In the area stood a mosque and a tomb where Muslims are located sideby side with people of non-Muslim graves. Places of worship and the tombbecame a symbol of harmony between faiths, because both places are givingreligious Kupang King Christian to it Muslim relatives. The mosque was theembryo of the Muslim community in Kupang that the mosque neighborhoodknown as the Muslim village. Adhesives of Nailokan harmony is kinship andthe Love motto of Kupang.Keywords: Harmony, Kinship, Motto Kupang.
