Abstract

ABSTRACT The research is a quantitatif descriptive research, the research to describe the utilization of the reference service at Udayana University Library. The techniques of collecting data are quisioner, observation and literature studies. Population in this research are all users of reference services at Udayana University Library.The sample in this research was totally 150 respondents. The sampling technique by methodincidental sampling. The result of this research is the most respondents 63,33% said that the reference collections have not sufficientat Udayana University Library. Almost all respondents (96%) of the reference collection at library greatly can increase knowledge and understanding of library user, this can be see from the 87,33% of respondents said that the reference collection when is available at Udayana Univerity Library is relevant on based  in accordance user needs of the user information.
