Abstract

Tutoring institution is an organization which classified in education which focuses on improving the quality of learning of all students in order to achieve the desired target. The operational activities on this institution consist of registration, scheduling, evaluation, and administration supporters. It will be less effective if the process is done manually. Therefore, many institutions are starting to restructure the model of information systems to support the company’s operations. This study describes about a design of information system model using object oriented approach introduced by Satzinger, which each phase is represented using UML diagrams. The result achieved in this research is to produce a general model of information systems in supporting the operations of a tutoring institution.

Abstract

Data is a very important asset for a company since it describes the company’s running processes. Database as a part of the information system components provides a big influence in helping data integration in a company. Therefore, we need a system which can facilitate the availability of data to be processed and used as needed, This study takes a company engaged in the sale of bike and spare parts, namely PT TDI, as the object of the study. At this time, PT TDI uses an integrated system in helping the company's operations. Along with the vision and mission, PT TDI intends to build a new operating system by applying the concept of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) which is believed to assist the company in maintaining relationships with customers using web-based platform. It aims to facilitate interaction with customers so that it can be done anytime and anywhere. This study implements the database design life cycle adjusted to the component aspects of CRM. The result achieved is a model that combines database CRM systems that can help companies improve relationships with customers.

Abstract

Article to design an operational system based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) that can connect customers with the company. It is expected that the exchange of information between both parties can be properly channeled, in short, accurate, and actual business-process occurs. Information is an important part in the business cycle because it includes all the transactions that are closely related business activities that occurred. The method used in designing this system is the Object Oriented Analysis and Design. Results to be achieved from this research are the formation of a web-based system that is able to become a liaison between the customer and the company, so the relationship can be well maintained. Customer satisfaction towards services obtained during the conduct of business transactions will have a positive impact for the company, as this can make the customers stay loyal to the company, as well as company profit can be increased as increasing customer loyalty.

Abstract

The result achieved in this research is to produce a general model of information systems in supporting the operations of a tutoring institution. Designing an information system that is compatible with business processes can maximize the company's operations to run efficiently and effectively so as provides a competitive advantage from its competitors.

Abstract

The role and strategy of information sytems in all business sectors that exist at present have a very important priority for the company. This is inevitable because the information system has become an important part in the continuity of a company. Perhaps without the information system, the company’s operations will not be able to work properly because various sectors/divisions rely on business automation process. Planning strategy in an enterprise information system aims to enable companies to determine appropriate strategies in the information system implementation. Setting the information system and information technology strategically needs a way to understand the role of information technology on an organization. Most organizations will not hesitate to review the investment in information technology that has been done because the success of a company is also determined by the application of information systems. Evaluation of experience, success, and failure of the previous application is an important aspect in management strategy.

Abstract

Many ways are taken to be superior in the existing competition, such as differentiation products, identifing new marketing strategies, and improving the performance of operational activities in order to obtain positive responses from the customer. The role of the customer in the implementation of a trading company holds an important position because of all the activities carried out focus on how companies can build satisfaction for the customer, so that in the future they will be back to the company'. This research discusses the design of an information systems to support the implementation of the company's daily operation which consists of selling activities, purchasing, and stock. The method used consists of analysis and design. Analysis begins from the identification of operational processes and data used in daily trading company in general, equipped with some concepts from supporting research literature to develop a model that can be applied. Meanhile the design method through the object oriented approach are illustrated using diagrams Unified Modelling Language (UML). A conceptual model of information system that can be implemented in support of the company's trading operations, which can provide competitive advantage for the company to face competition in the industry.

Abstract

Running the business process of labor supply is not easy since it involves several parties, and n supported by elements of the documents obtained from internal and external parties. PT XYZ as a company dealing with labor supply service to foreign countries has not had any competent information systems in supporting its business processes. Therefore, this research is expected to produce a draft of information system and database applications that can support the administrative activities of labor supply of the company. The research used both analysis and design methods. Analytical method includes survey of the current system done by observation, interviews, identification of the information needs of the survey results and identification of system requirements. The design method consists of designing a model system using UML notation, designing databases and user interfaces for supporting applications. The information system applications resulted in this research can be a competitive advantage in marketing their employment services and improve business processes of PT XYZ.

Abstract

Currently most organization have assets to support operational processes. Although a number of organizations tend to use outsourcing and leasing services to organize their assets, but some organization prefer to buy their own and manage their assets with a particular reason. Asset management is not a simple job. It’s very difficult to manage assets without information systems as support media. Integrating asset management into information system can help organization to record and update the status of assets, maintenance and repair of assets, calculate asset depreciation, and asset reallocation among divisions. ABC as part of the computer laboratory at a well known University in Jakarta is currently had many problems to manage their assets. The composition of their assets consists of hardware, software, and other supporting devices. Based on these problems, the research carried out in order to solve the problem. The research perform an analysis of the process in asset management as well as to formulate and implement a model of information system that can support the management of existing assets, so that all data can be integrated and managed with the system. The method for this research is based on analysis and design of object-oriented. Abstract

The background of this research is based on the operational needs in human resources department to organize all the data and business processes that occur in this division. The role of the Human Resources division significantly to manage labor resources that contribute to the implementation of the organization’s operations. The objectives in this research is to build a model of information system that can support the operation in employee management system, which consists of employees’ personal data, attendance report, and document about employees competence. The method of this research refers to model lifecycle database [1]. The results achieved in this study was the establishment of a model of information systems and database design that can support the operations of the Human Resources Department that can be operated and controlled directly by the relevant employees, so that the operational process can be performed effectively and efficiently. Abstract

The rise of online shopping, particularly through e-commerce platforms, has given rise to a new phenomenon called live shopping. Live shopping involves sellers creating virtual shopping experiences that are directly accessible to potential buyers. This study aims to identify the factors that influence buyers when making purchases in live shopping marketplaces, utilizing a basic model derived from the Technology Acceptance Model. The research employs a quantitative research method and utilizes the SmartPLS software. The findings of this study demonstrate that all indicators significantly impact Customer Purchase Shopping Live Shop. These factors include Information Quality, Intention to Use, Perceived Ease of Use, and Perceived Usefulness. The main implication of this research is that stakeholders in the live shopping industry should focus on providing comprehensive product information, ensuring seamless transactions, creating an engaging atmosphere with product tips, offering promotions to attract customers, and prioritizing product quality. This is due to the significant role of complete and honest information in making purchases on social media platforms.
