Abstract

Organizational success can be measured by the effectiveness of its employees. The research location is PT. BPR Parasari was chosen because it found employee performance problems caused by less harmonious relations between employees and employee mismatch in a field of work. This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment and work discipline on employee performance. Attribution theory is used as a theoretical basis. The population in this study were all employees of PT. BPR Parasari. The method of determining the sample using nonprobability sampling with saturated sampling technique so that the number of research respondents as many as 58 people. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test, model feasibility test, and T test. This study found that the work environment and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance; work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; work discipline has a more dominant influence on employee performance. The implications of this study explain that PT. BPR Parasari needs to improve the work environment and work discipline so that later it will improve employee performance.

Abstract

The decline in the effectiveness of employee performance in organizations has increased organizational awareness, especially management, of the importance of the overall level of employee performance. This awareness is the basis for organizational management to consider factors that can realize employee performance in a sustainable manner, including transformational leadership roles and internal and external motivation of employees. Provide an understanding of transformational leadership formation to employee performance and assess the role of motivation moderation as a research objective. A quantitative approach was used in the study using the analysis of the path analysis method, the data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires involving 46 respondents directly from CV Bali Barong employees using the smallest square. This study reveals that the three variable relationships directly have a strong impact between transformational leadership on performance, transformational leadership on work motivation and work motivation on performance. Furthermore, this study shows that there is an influence of motivation mediating between transformational leadership on performance. This finding is one of the references for business leaders, especially the gadget industry, to optimize employee performance and encourage the realization of internal and external organizational motivation through the role of leadership.

Abstract

Work stress is an emotional condition that experienced by employees as a result of workload. This not only impacts individuals but also impacts organizations. The purpose of this study to analyze the effect of workload on work stress mediated by work life balance. This research was conducted at the Department of Culture of Badung Regency with a sample of 82 contract employees selected using the saturated sampling method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and surveys. Questionnaires were employed as the study tool. Path analysis using SPSS version 25.0 was the data analysis method employed. The study's findings demonstrate that workload significantly and favorably affects work-related stress. Work-life balance is negatively and significantly impacted by workload. Work life balance has a negative and significant effect on work stress. Work life balance is able to partially mediates the effect of workload on work stress. This study strengthen the Job Demands-Control Model theory in explaining work stress behavior and are expected to serve as a valuable reference for the Department of Culture of Badung Regency in managing work stress issues and formulating strategic policies.
