Abstract

THE APPLICATION OF LEARNING MODEL OF COOPERATIVE LEARNING WITH INDEX CARD MATCH MEDIA IN INCREASING STUDENTS' ACTIVENESS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES IN HISTORY SUBJECT OF CLASS X MIA 1 SMA NEGERI 1 BREBES SALEM IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2014/2015. Thesis. Faculty of Education and Teacher Training. Sebelas Maret University Surakarta. July 2015.The purpose of this research is to enhance the students? activeness and learning outcomes of students in class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Salem Brebes by applying the teaching model of cooperative learning with index card match media in history subject.This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of a plan, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 38 students of class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Salem. Source of data was derived from the teacher, the students and the learning process. Data collection techniques were implemented by conducting tests, observations, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Testing the data validity was by using triangulation techniques. Data analysis was conducted by using comparative descriptive analysis techniques. The research model used was the spiral model (Planning, Acting, Observing and Reflecting).The results showed that the teacher could be categorized as be able to teach well in the learning process, so that the learning process ran well. The ability of teachers to teach in pre-cycle was 62.5% which increased to 79.5% in the first cycle and 85.71% in the second cycle. The implementation of teaching model of cooperative with index card match media could enhance the students? activeness and learning outcomes of studying history subject of class X MIA 1 in pre-cycle to the first cycle and from cycle I to cycle II. The students? activeness in pre-cycle was 63.15% which increased to 79.27% in the first cycle and 82.31% in the second cycle. The completeness of students? learning outcomes in pre-cycle was 65.79% which increased to 73.68% in the first cycle and successfully developed to 81.37 in the second cycle.Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be drawn the conclusion that the teaching model of cooperative learning with index card match media enhance the students? activeness and learning outcomes of class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Salem Brebes.

Abstract

The research aimed to: (1) describe and explain the history and process of implementing the ngasa tradition in the Sagara mountain cultural reserve, Gandoang village, Salem district, Brebes regency, (2) describe and explain the values of local wisdom contained in the ngasa tradition ceremony in the Sagara mountain cultural reserve, Gandoang village, Salem district, Brebes regency (3) describe and explain the value of local wisdom contained in the Mountain ngasa tradition ceremony Sagara in growing the profile of pancasila students.This research uses qualitative descriptive method with ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques include participatory observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use the Miles and Huberman approach, which includes the stages of data reduction, data exposure, and conclusion making. The results of the study concluded that: (1) the Sagara mountain ngasa tradition is a traditional ceremony that has been carried out for generations as an expression of gratitude from the people of the Sagara mountain slopes, especially Gandoang village to God Almighty and his ancestors for the blessings, enjoyment. (2) Thelocal wisdom of the traditional ceremonies of Mount Sagara is religious value, social value and cultural value. This value if associated with the profile of Pancasila students is religious consisting of dimensions of faith, fear of God Almighty. (3) the value of local wisdom in the Sagara mountain ngasa tradition ceremony is very appropriate to be used as a form of strengthening character education values in growing the profile of Pancasila students for students. ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan sejarah dan proses pelaksanaan tradisi ngasa yang ada di cagar budaya gunung Sagara desa Gandoang kecamatan Salem kabupaten Brebes (2) mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang terkandung dalam tradisi ngasa di cagar budaya gunung Sagara desa Gandoang kecamatan Salem kabupaten Brebes (3) mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan nilai kearifan lokal yang terkandung dalam tradisi ngasa Gunung Sagara dalam menumbuhkan profil pelajar pancasila. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi partisipatif, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pendekatan Miles dan Huberman, yang mencakup tahap-tahap reduksi data, pemaparan data, serta pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa: (1) tradisi ngasa gunung Sagara merupakan upacara tradisi yang telah dilaksanakan secara turun temurun sebagai ungkapan rasa syukur masyarakat lereng gunung Sagara khususnya desa Gandoang kepada Tuhan YME dan para leluhurnya atas keberkahan, kenikmatan. (2) nilai kearifan lokal tradisi ngasa gunung Sagara adalah nilai religius, nilai sosial dan nilai budaya. (3) nilai kearifan lokal dalam tradisi ngasa gunung Sagara sangat tepat digunakan sebagai bentuk nilai penguatan pendidikan karakter dalam menumbuhkan profil pelajar pancasila bagi peserta didik.
