AbstrakPengelolaan sumber daya manusia merupakan hal yang sangat memengaruhi keberhasilan organisasi. Oleh karena itu setiap organisasi memiliki caranya sendiri dalam mengelola sumber daya manusianya, salah satunya dengan memberikan bimbingan karir karyawan. Seperti yang telah dilakukan oleh Bandar Udara Trunojoyo yang memberikan bimbingan karir khususnya di unit Aviation Security. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis bimbingan karir dalam meningkatkan prestasi kerja karyawan unit Aviation Security, serta menganalisis faktor-faktor yang menjadi penentu keberhasilan bimbingan karir. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu bimbingan karir yang diterapkan di Bandar Udara Trunojoyo berupa Pendidikan dan Pelatihan. Terdapat banyak perbedaan yang terjadi pada karyawan saat sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti bimbingan diantaranya yaitu pembaruan ilmu, kemampuan, pengalaman, beserta kenaikan grade. Adapun faktor-faktor yang menjadi penunjang suksesnya bimbingan karir, salah satunya adalah pembimbing yang profesional, karyawan, sarana dan prasarana bimbingan karir, terpenuhinya kebutuhan karyawan. Bandar udara juga memberikan penghargaan bagi karyawan yang memiliki prestasi kerja yang baik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa bimbingan karir yang berupa pendidikan dan pelatihan terbukti dapat meningkatkan prestasi kerja karyawan di unit Aviation Security, meskipun dalam hal ini masih perlu banyak perbaikan. Dalam pelaksanaannya juga dibutuhkan beberapa faktor agar bimbingan karir tersebut dapat berjalan efektif.Kata Kunci: Bimbingan Karir, Prestasi Kerja, Bandar Udara Trunojoyo AbstractHuman resource management is a very important thing for the success of the organization. As has been done by Trunojoyo Airport which provides career guidance, especially in the Aviation Security unit. The purpose of the study was to analyze career guidance in improving the work performance of employees of the Aviation Security unit, as well as to analyze the factors that determine the success of career guidance. This research is a qualitative research. The data collection carried out were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research are career guidance applied at Trunojoyo Airport in the form of education and training. There are many differences that occur in employees before and before taking guidance including knowledge, abilities, experience, and grade promotion. The factors that support the success of career guidance, one of which is a professional mentor, employees, career guidance facilities and infrastructure, meeting the needs of employees. The airport also provides awards for employees who have good work performance. Based on these results, it can be said that career guidance in the form of education has been proven to improve employee performance in the Aviation Security unit, although in this case there is still much need for improvement.
