Abstract

This study aims to predict the financial distress of airline companies which is influenced by the ratio of liquidity, solvency, profitability, activity and investment. This research is inferential research with a quantitative approach. This research used financial statements of airline companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2021 as the data. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that the liquidity ratio (Current Ratio) and solvency ratio (Debt to Equity Ratio) partially had no effect on the prediction of financial distress as measured using Springate model. Profitability ratio (Return on Assets), activity ratio (Total Assets Turnover) and investment ratio (Price Erning Ratio) partially have a positive effect on the prediction of financial distress. The profitability ratio has an influence of 81%, the activity ratio has 27.8% and the investment ratio has 7.6% on the prediction of financial distress. The prediction result of financial distress are not solely influenced by the company's ability to pay debts, both short term and long term. Conditions related to asset performance, such as Return on Assets and Total Asset Turnover actually affect the prediction results of financial distress.

Abstract

Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Airport located in Bima regency, West Nusa Tenggara is the main terminal for the people of Bima and its surroundings who travel using air services. As the main terminal for Bima people who will travel by air service, Bima Airport must have a risk management system in accordance with applicable regulations, especially in the airside area where all aircraft operational activities take place in the airside area. This study aims to determine the suitability of the safety criteria of Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Bima Airport and the steps taken by the airport in the event of a non-conformity or an event that can be categorized as hazard identification and Risk assessment (HIRA). This study used mixed methods Data collection was carried out by observation, structured interviews and documentation. The general data in this study is primary data and secondary data. Data analysis used using qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of this study are based on research that has been carried out based on ISO 31000 on Aviation Hazard Risk Management Analysis on the Airside Side as an effort to minimize the risk of accidents with the Hira method at Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Airport which is carried out using stages consisting of the risk identification stage, risk analysis and risk evaluation as well as the risk treatment stage, So from the study 10 dangers and risks that are likely to occur. Of the 10 risks, there are 9 risks in the red zone (high) and 1 risk in the yellow zone (medium). Of the 10 risks, they then get treatment or control because they are in the red zone and yellow zone. Controlling the possibility of 10 existing risks, Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Airport uses control measures in implementing measures to minimize the impact of possible risks that occur, namely avoiding and reducing risks. This is supported by risk treatment carried out by the company and adjusted to 10 risks that are likely to occur.

Abstract

The development of information technology has changed the way people search and purchase airplane tickets. This study aims to analyze the effect of Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, and Trust on Behavioral Intention to Use the Skyscanner application for Generation Z in Yogyakarta. Using a quantitative approach, this study involved 100 student respondents selected through purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results showed that the three independent variables-Perceived Ease of Use (β=0.720), Perceived Usefulness (β=0.724), and Trust (β=0.708)-partially and simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on Behavioral Intention to Use with a coefficient of determination of 80.4%. These findings strengthen the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in the context of airfare comparison applications and emphasize the importance of ease of use, practical benefits, and trust in increasing technology adoption among Generation Z. The practical implication for application developers is the need to focus on intuitive interfaces, efficient features, and data security transparency to increase the intention to use airfare search applications.

Abstract

Job training is a key strategy in human resource management to improve employee quality and productivity, especially in the aviation sector where the work is demanding and service-oriented. Kertajati International Airport, as one of Indonesia's national strategic projects, requires professional, well-trained, and adaptable personnel—particularly in the Aviation Security (AVSEC) unit. However, studies on the effectiveness of training in improving work productivity at airports remain limited. This research uses a quantitative approach with instrument testing (validity and reliability), classical assumption tests, simple linear regression, t-test, and coefficient of determination. The independent variable is job training, while the dependent variable is the work productivity of AVSEC personnel at Kertajati Airport. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to personnel who had undergone training. The results show that job training has a positive and significant effect on work productivity. Training improves discipline, technical skills, and work motivation. The coefficient of determination of 31.1% indicates that training contributes significantly to productivity, although other factors such as motivation and work environment also play important roles in supporting overall performance.

Abstract

Using the Generation Z Paylater feature in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, this study investigates the influence of perceived benefits and perceived risks on airplane ticket purchase decisions. The rapid growth of digital technology and e-commerce, especially in technology-based financial services (financial technology), is driving consumer behavior to become more practical, including buying airline tickets. Young people, especially Gen Z, are starting to use paylater, which allows customers to pay as they buy and pay at a later date. The research method used is a quantitative method with a survey method through distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who are Generation Z students who live or study in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The data obtained were analyzed using validity, reliability, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing (t test and F test) with the help of SPSS software. The results showed that perceived benefits have a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase airplane tickets using Paylater. Perceptions of risk also show a positive and significant influence, although in some indicators such as psychological and social risks, the influence is less dominant than financial and performance risks. Simultaneously, the two independent variables, namely perceived benefits and perceived risks, have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.520 indicates that 52% of the variation in purchasing decisions can be explained by these two variables, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the research model.
