Abstract

Wolter Monginsidi Street is one of the main activity hubs in Baubau City. It serves as a central shopping area, making it prone to traffic congestion due to the increasing traffic volume caused by human movement and transportation activities. This road stretches 600 meters and is lined on both sides with textile shops, clothing stores, and grocery shops. It also frequently accommodates vehicles coming from the direction of Pasar Karya Nugra, further escalating the traffic volume. The problem examined in this study is the impact of traffic volume on the service level of Wolter Monginsidi Street, assessed based on Regulation PM No. 14 of 2006. The study aims to determine the influence of traffic volume on the road's service level following the latest regulations outlined in PM No. 14 of 2006. Based on the analysis, the following conclusions were drawn: The traffic performance on Wolter Monginsidi Street is categorized as good since the road's capacity is sufficient to handle peak-hour traffic volumes. The service level of Wolter Monginsidi Street is classified under Service Level Category B

Abstract

Abstract— Lasori Village, East Mawasangka District, has not installed a clean water distribution system so that people have difficulty getting clean water. Because the springs in Lasori Village, Mawasangka Timur District are so far away, people still rely on brackish water wells for their daily water needs. During the dry season, the wells dry up, and some residents have to buy water to meet their clean water needs. The distance is about 6 kilometers from the settlement, making it difficult for residents who have to walk or use motorized vehicles. The availability of drinking water in East Mawasangka District is a crucial problem that cannot be separated from the way of life. The geometric approach is used to calculate population growth forecasts for the next ten years. In 2020, the population is 1893 and the water demand is 1,5873 liters/second. In 2030, the population is 3037 and the water demand is 2.5466 liters/second. Based on the results of the calculation of water needs using the standard SNI 19-6728.1-2002 (100 liters/person/day), the volume of water in the projected springs (1,496 m3) is sufficient to meet the water needs of the community in Lasori. occupancy. In 2020, the total water demand is 1.9478 liters/second and in 2030, the total water needs are 2489.5 liters/second so that it can be fulfilled. Abstract

The water for the rice fields comes from the Iwoi Sangia spring. The water flows in irrigation canals that are not feasible so that a lot of water is wasted. Water flows out of the canal through cracks in the walls. This resulted in water not being distributed optimally to the farmers' paddy fields. Through this program, we took the initiative to repair damaged irrigation canals. It is hoped that after the existence of good irrigation canals, water will no longer seep in vain so that irrigation coverage can be wider, irrigation canals become cleaner, and can initiate program plans with government assistance. The method of implementing this activity contains steps to realize the objectives of the community service PKM proposal. Community Service activities, especially the planning of tertiary irrigation channels, were carried out very well and smoothly in accordance with the previous planning activities. This activity begins with interaction with the Village Government and continues with site inspections and field measurements. The result of this community activity is the delineation of irrigation canal plans and budget plans, which will facilitate irrigation work for the Village Government.
