Abstract

CV Nugarada Abadi adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pengadaan barang dan jasa untuk instansi pemerintah maupun swasta. Kegiatan pengelolaan surat di perusahaan saat ini masih menggunakan metode manual. Menggunakan buku agenda yang ditulis tangan sebagai alat pencatatan surat. Berdasarkan hasil observasi tercatat ada 1.284 surat keluar per tanggal 1 April 2022 dan 74% diantaranya adalah surat dengan perihal permintaan penawaran harga. Pembuatan surat dengan metode manual ini memiliki beberapa kekurangan yaitu, nomor surat tidak urut, kesalahan ketik, dan buku agenda yang tidak dapat digunakan bersamaan. Sebagai upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang timbul dari pengelolaan surat secara manual maka dilakukan pembuatan sistem pengelolaan surat secara elektronik menggunakan Microsoft Access. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah metode waterfall dan diawali dengan pengumpulan data dengan melakukan studi pustaka, observasi, dan, wawancara. Hasil dari proyek ini adalah aplikasi pengelolaan surat berbasis Microsoft Access. Berdasarkan pengujian dan wawancara dengan pengguna didapatkan informasi bahwa aplikasi ini dapat mempermudah pengguna dalam melakukan kegiatan pengelolaan surat dan dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang muncul dalam pengelolaan surat secara manual. Aplikasi ini juga dapat meningkatkan kecepatan pembuatan dan pencatatan surat permintaan penawaran sebesar 46% lebih cepat saat menggunakan metode baru. Dengan begitu kegiatan pengelolaan surat dapat semakin efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

The development of increasingly sophisticated technology is an advantage for business development.Especially the new ones. With the rapid development of information technology, data transfer is alsobecoming faster. Information systems require the need to process daily transactions, supportadministrative activities and provide reports. The use of website-based applications can increaseproductivity in carrying out administrative activities such as recording transactions. Appsheet is anapplication that can be used to create transaction recording applications. Of course, with the additionof other applications such as Google Drive and Google Sheets. Some of these applications can becombined to create applications that can later be used to record transactions in small businesses suchas the Independent Economic Movement (GEMI) conducted by residents of RT 04 RW 18, CipageranVillage, Cimahi City. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that theapplication for recording transactions at GEMI can be designed in web form, using an Appsheet andusing Google Sheets to store sales data. Based on the test results, it was found that this salesapplication can make it easier for the GEMI treasurer to process the transaction activities that occur,so that sales transaction data can be stored and managed properly in a Google Spreadsheet.
