Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect comics Media the mastery toward concepts of Physics Students Class VIII MTs NW Sanggeng the Academic Year 2015/2016. Research type used is experimental research. The population in this study is all students of class VIII MTs NW Sanggeng. Samples used is class VIIIA totaling 21 people as a class experiment and VIIIB students of 20 people as the control class taken with purposive sampling technique. The data in this study taken to give the initial test and final test to students sample. Data collection techniques using test questions Essay. Based on the analysis of data obtained by the average value of the initial test of the experimental class 13.29 and the control class is 12.85. Final test results showed an average grade of 63.05 experiment and the control class 49.10. Data final test graders samples were analyzed using t-test. Based on the results of data analysis using t-test obtained tcalculate equal to 2,756 and ttable of 2.002. Obtained thitung greater than t table at a 5% error level, so Ha is received, it can be concluded that there is effect from the use Media comic the mastery toward concepts of Physics Students Class VIII MTs NW Sanggeng in the academic year 2015/2016.

Abstract

This research is the development of instructional videos. The purpose of this study was to develop ICT based learning media that can enhance students' understanding on the dynamic electrical material. This study uses 4D model of development which define, design, develop and disseminate. This study only uses three phases to the development stage video designed using Software adobe after effect. Further testing in two stages, the process of validation and surveys. The validation process performed by the second validator of the quality and appropriateness of instructional media content with an average score of 3.25 thus classified as "Highly Valid". Furthermore, the survey of 14 students of 4th semester of physics education by looking at appeal and the general look of the media with the acquisition of an average score of 3.13 and included the category "Agree". Thus deserve to be a program developed as a learning medium and can be used in science teaching junior class IX on the subject of dynamic electricity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of inquiry learning models with pictorial riddle methods on students' creative thinking abilities. This research is a quasi-experimental (Quasy Experiment) with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely class X IPA 2 and class X IPA 3, each of which amounted to 30 students. The creative thinking ability test instrument consisting of 12 items and observation sheets was used to collect data in this study. The results of the study were analyzed using SPSS v-22 software for windows. The results showed that: 1) the average initial test scores of the experimental and control classes were 45.7 and 44.1 respectively; 2) the average initial test scores of the experimental and control class were 79.2 and 68.8 respectively; 3) homogeneity prerequisite tests show homogeneous data and normality tests show normally distributed data; 4) t-test results obtained Sig. (2-tailed) posttest data (0.00) is smaller than alpha testing (0.05), so the working hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Thus, the inquiry learning model with the pictorial riddle method influences students' creative thinking abilities.
