Abstract

Perkembangan dari teknologi dan informasi yang sangat pesat saat ini telah melahirkan media sosial diantaranya ada beberapa yang paling populer yaitu instagram, youtube, facebook, whatsapp, dan twitter. Media sosial memiliki banyak fungsi antara lain sebagai sarana menyampaikan/menerima informasi, sebagai sarana untuk membangun/menjaga hubungan. Selain itu, media sosial juga di manfaatkan oleh para pedagang sebagai media promosi. Seperti pada penelitian ini yang membahas tentang media sosial facebook sebagai media promosi kuliner di kabupaten sumbawa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pemanfaatan facebook sebagai media promosi oleh para pedangang dengan menggunakan teori media marketing. Metode penelitan yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analisis dalam jangka waktu penelitian dari Juni-Oktober 2021. Sumber penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder melalui teknik wawancara, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan facebook sebagai media promosi sesuai dengan teori media marketing yaitu, Content Creation yaitu informasi yang dibagikan harus menarik dan jelas agar pembeli tidak perlu bertanya terkait dagangan yang di jajarkan, Content Sharing yaitu kegiatan membagikan informasi ke komunitas dagang yang ada di facebook maupun di beranda pribadi, Connecting yaitu bagaimana cara penjual agar bisa terhubung dengan pembeli dan dapat mempertahankan hubungan itu dalam jangka waktu yang lama, terakhir ada Community Building yaitu bagaimana cara penjual bergabung dengan komunitas sosial yang ada di facebook sehingga pedagang dapat mempromosikan dagangannya. Teori media markeing ini cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan penjualan para pedagang kuliner yang menggunakan facebook sebagai media promosinya. Kata Kunci : Facebook, Media Promosi, Teori Media Marketing

Abstract

Aquatic resources are one of the natural resources that can be renewed, but if their use is carried out excessively without paying attention to sustainability, it will have a bad impact on the aquatic resources themselves. This study discusses policies related to sea turtle conservation activities, the purpose of this study is to find out the policies that have been made related to sea turtle conservation and its implementation in the field, this is done to realize the sustainability of resources and the aquatic environment. This study was conducted in the Nipah Essential Ecosystem Area (KEE), Malaka Village, North Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The existence of this ecosystem area can directly or indirectly help in natural resource conservation activities in the Nipah coastal environment. One of the policies that have been implemented to preserve turtle habitat is by conserving sea turtle habitat, and educational activities on the importance of sea turtles for natural resources and the aquatic environment. Conservation activities carried out in the Nipah Essential Ecosystem Area (KEE) have an implementation score of 100% meaning that policies related to sea turtle conservation in the Nipah Essential Ecosystem Area have been implemented properly, this happens because of the cooperation of various parties between local communities, the TCC (Turtle Conservation Community) community, local governments, and the central government. With a high implementation score, sea turtle habitats will be better preserved, and natural resources and aquatic environments will become sustainable.

Abstract

This research aims to examine further the open defecation behavior carried out by people who live on riverbanks. The subjects of this research are the people of the Pekat sub-district who live around the river banks, especially around RT 001 RW 08. In this context, the research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and documentation methods. To analyze this research, Social Construction theory is divided into three parts, namely externalization, objectivation and internalization. The research results show that the behavior of open defecation in rivers is considered normal by some people because of primary socialization from people closest to them and hereditary habits. Factors causing this negative action include low knowledge, the impact of natural disasters, and lower middle economic conditions so that rivers are used for various purposes. In conclusion, this behavior originates from the experience and knowledge of society that has been obtained long ago and continues to be confirmed today. There is no new experience or knowledge regarding proper defecation behavior. So until now, people still defecate in the river.
