Abstract

Family is a smallest social unit. The change number of the family member will influence the atmosphere of the family relationship which influence feeling, thought, and attitude of the members. The father’s dead which makes children become orphan is a fact of life. It always makes family atmosphere become sad, and it causes bad situation for the children in which they lose love and good leader. Therefore, it is important to develop their potentials which will give benefits for their life and their family. Developing orphans’ positive potentials can be done at home or in orphanage. This article aims at investigating orphans parenting in Muhammadiyah girl orphanage in Pare. The result shows that the orphans parenting in Muhammadiyah girl orphanage in Pare can be seen from the parenthood which has good attitude and character. She has motherly attitude, patient, discipline, and perceptive with the orphans’ condition. The learning activity in the orphanage is 24 hours. The orphans learn religious knowledge, foreign language, and entrepreneurship. The parenting model used are that the parenthood educate the orphans as like her own children, and the relationship between the old and the young orphans is like own brother-sister. The supporting factors of the parenting in this orphanage are honest intention, community support, financial source, and facilities. Meanwhile, the problems faced are juvenile delinquency and insufficient facilities.

Abstract

One of non-formal institution which applies Arabic learning practice method is Islamic Training Center (ITC), an Arabic course institution standardized the Middle East by using EL-BARQIE (special method without formula). ITC uses motto 5 in 1 including Qowa’id ‘Arabiyyah Shamilah, Qira’ah, Kitabah, Tarjamah, Muhadathah, and Ta’bir. This institution is located in Jl. Brawijaya 16 Singgahan, beside ITC mosque Pelem, Pare, Kediri. This research aims at investigating Arabic learning system in Islamic Training Center (ITC) Pare, and the outcome of the students in learning Arabic language in that institution. The finding shows that the special characteristic of ITC that is different with the others is the Middle East standard which can be seen in (1) the accent used in learning Arabic language which always uses lahjah Arabian, especially when takallum. (2) tarkib al-kalimah / sentence pattern used in Arabic language either takallum, qira’ah or kitabah must use Arabian pattern/tarkib Arab fushha, preposition, muta’addi sentence, not Indonesian pattern, but Arabian pattern. (3) Learning materials which are sourced from Al-Qur’an and Hadist are always directed to guidance of learning Islamic study as well written ITC (Islamic Training Center) Pare for Islamic Guidance.

Abstract

Learning Arabic Language actually will never be separated from the last goal ofIslam education which is being usedas a tool to understand Islam values inside Islam primary values resource that is Al-Qur'an and Al-Hadits along with turats books and all of those are written in Arabic language. Right now,learning Arabic Language in Indonesia arenot exist at formal institution only, there is a lot non-formal institution where everyone can learn Arabic Language, one of them are Al-Farisi. This Arabic Language course institution doing some effort to escalate the creation of qualified Arabic Language learning on their curriculum,learning strategy, learning media, also learning evaluation. One of important thing to remember is they only work with lecturers who graduate from Al-Farisi.
