Abstract

Traffic accidents are an important problem in Indonesia, the accidents occur due to various factors, the main factors causing accidents is the driver error factor due to not fair and dangerous road conditions. Therefore the improvement and evaluation of road conditions is very important to reduce the number and fatality of traffic accident. The strategies for improving it is the IRAP method which will be used in this study on the Gajah Mada road – Jakarta, which is targeted to get a Star Rating Score of 4 and 5. From the observation method of the research, it was found that the existing condition of the Gajah Mada road, for vehicle occupant it has reached 4, motorcycles 4, pedestrians 5, but for cyclists only 3 therefore, it is necessary to do countermeasures to improve the Star Rating Score for cyclists to elevate 4 and 5.Peristiwa kecelakaan lalu lintas merupakan kejadian yang sangat sering terjadi dan harus segera di atasi.  Menurut data statistik 2018 akhir, kecelakaan lalulintas tercatat 109.225 kejadian, dengan komposisi fatalitas tertinggi (meninggal dunia) sebesar 17%.  Hal ini diakibatkan oleh berbagai faktor, faktor utama yang menjadi penyebab adalah kesalahan pengendara, kemudian akibat kondisi jalan yang kurang baik dan berbahaya. Untuk mengatasi defisiensi pada ruas jalan maka evaluasi dan penangatnan kondisi jalan sangat diperlukan guna mengurangi jumlah dan tingkat fatalitas dari kecelakaan lalu lintas. Pada penelitian ini akan di pergunakan metode IRAP, untuk mengevaluasi, menangani dan meningkatkan star rating ruas jalan Gajah Mada di Jakarta, dengan target agar dapat mencapai Star Rating Score 4 dan 5. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh kondisi eksisting ruas jalan Gajah Mada, untuk moda mobil penumpang sudah mencapai star rating 4, motor 4, pejalan kaki 5, tetapi untuk moda pesepeda hanya mencapai star rating 3, oleh sebab itu, perlu diberikan rekomendasi dan penanganan guna menaikkan Star Rating Score Mode untuk pesepeda agar dapat mencapai 4 dan 5.

Abstract

The Civil Engineering Undergraduate Study Program and the Tarumanagara University Research and Community Service Institute in collaboration with residents of RW 07 Banjar Wijaya, Cipete sub-district, Tangerang City, presented a library building, hereinafter referred to as Banjar Wijaya People's Reading Park. The reading garden is a place that is needed by the community around the location as a place to get information, knowledge and a place for refreshing. In the construction of the library around the reading garden, the local community experienced difficulties in planning a roof truss made of steel. The Civil Engineering Undergraduate Study Program and the Institute for Research and Community Service of Tarumanagara University in collaboration with residents of RW07 Banjar Wijaya, Cipete sub-district, Tangerang City, presented a lightweight steel roof truss design for the library building built in the Greek Cluster environment. Mild steel is a material made of steel with a much lower carbon content, thinner and lighter than conventional steel. When compared to wood as a roof truss, mild steel is cheaper and easier to install but still has good sturdiness. Mild steel on the surface is coated with galvanized cells so that it is not easy to rust, is resistant to various weather conditions and is able to support the geting or arbes load it carries. The lightweight steel roof truss is able to protect the library building to the maximum.
