Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan representasi merupakan aspek penting agar dapat berhasil memecahkan masalah kimia. Pemahaman pebelajar ditunjukkan oleh kemampuannya  mentransfer dan menghubungkan multiple representasi kimia, yaitu makroskopik,  submiskroskopik dan simbolik dengan berbagai mode representasi atau disebut juga interkoneksi multiple level representasi kimia (IMLR). Mahasiswa calon guru harus memahami hubungan ketiga level representasi kimia secara internal dan  dapat menyajikannya kembali ketiga representasi tersebut dalam pembelajaran, agar kelak menjadi guru yang handal. Untuk itu  dikembangkan suatu model perkuliahan menggunakan sistem manajemen belajar berbasis Moodle 2.0. Adapun desain pembelajaran dikembangkan dengan memanfaatkan fitur-fitur ; lesson page, forum diskusi, penugasan (assignment).  Implementasi model menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan one group pretes-postes design terhadap 37 mahasiswa calon guru di salah satu LPTK di Bandung menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan kemampuan IMLR mahasiswa  pada topik kesetimbangan larutan asam-basa. Mahasiswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menyarankan perlunya dikembangkan lebih luas desain belajar  IMLR  berbasis web untuk meningkatkan mutu program pendidikan calon guru ataupun program peningkatan kompetensi professional guru kimia di lapangan. Kata kunci : Pembelajaran berbasis web, interkoneksi multiple level representasi, Kesetimbangan larutan asam-basa ABSTRACT Representational competence is an important aspect of successful problem solving in chemistry. Students' understanding indicated by the ability to transfer and connection between macroscopic phenomena, submicroscopic and symbolic representation or also called the interconnection of multiple levels representation (IMLR) competence.  Preservice chemistry teachers should be achieved IMLR competence so that later will be applied it after they become   teachers.  Development of web-based learning management system that support the IMLR competence to improve the quality of preservice chemistry teachers carried out by  Web-based learning with Moodle 2.0 utilize features; lesson page, discussion forums, and assignment.  The  implementation of web-based learning using quasi experiment method with one group pretest-postest design. Involvement of  37 preservice chemistry teachers at teacher education program in Bandung. Results showed that IMLR competence preservice chemistry teachers increased significantly in topic of acid-base equilibrium. Most of students gave positive feedback and expected to continue web-based learning on other topics of chemistry. It is suggested to applied web-based learning design to enhance IMLR competence preservice chemistry teachers widely as well as to enhance professional competence of inservice chemistry teachers.
