Abstract

AbstractIntroduction: Adaptation is a changing process which is individual respondtoward their environmental changing. Adaptive respond is totality respond of aperson as the holistic creature that in adaptation process the time is needed anddifferent on each other.Purpose of the study: To determine the correlation of the emotional quotientlevel and the communiation ability in adaptation process on the new student atPanti Kosala Nursing Academy.Subjects: On 103 new student at Panti Kosala Nursing Academy. Samplingtechnic used is purposif sampling, that the sampling for certain purpose.Results:Multivariat test result by “Regresi Logistik Ganda” the value isNagelkerke R Square 45,1%Conclusion : The emotional quotient level and the communication ability bothhave significant correlation that influence to adaptation process on the newstudent at Panti Kosala Nursing Academy, the test value is 45,1% and the rest is54,9% influenced by other variable nonresearch.Keywords: The emotional quotient level, Communication ability, adaptationprocess

Abstract

Background: a Learning achievement is inseparable from a learning activities because alearning process must provide a learning outcomes. By a high learning achievementindicates that the students have a good understanding of the knowledge. The learningachievement of a person is determined by internal and external factors that concerningthree fundamental aspects of the learning process are namely the input, the process andthe output. On the input aspects the determinant are the individual background, thefacilitator, the method, the learning motivation and environment in which influencing thelearning process so as to give output In the form of the learning achievement. Related tothe above, the researcher is interested to do a research that concerning about thecontribution of the learning method, the learning motivation and the majors studyBackground at the high School to the learning achievement of AKPER Panti KosalaSurakarta students. Research objectives: to know the contribution of the learningmethod, the learning motivation and the background of the majors study at the highschool to the student learning achievement of AKPER Panti Kosala Surakarta students.Research subject: research sample of 162 students of AKPER Panti Kosala Surakarta.Sampling by simple random sampling.Results : by multivariate test with the double logistic regression test, show the valueNegelkerke R Square 18,7%.Conclusion : That the variable of the learning method, the learning motivation and thebackground of majors study at the high school are jointly affect the learning achievementequal to 18,7% and the rest of which is 81,3% affected by other variable out of theresearch.Keywords: The Learning Method, The Learning Motivation, The Background of themajors study at the high school and The Learning Achievement

Abstract

Background: The circulation of drugs in Indonesia has penetrated in all of the society levels, this condition is very worrying for the sustainability of the nation. The prevalence of drug abuse in group of students and college students in 2016 is 3.8%, where every year experiencing significant fluctuations. Related to the above, it is necessary to research about the relationship between the level of knowledge about drugs and the stigma of drug addicts with the motivation not to use drugs in teenagers GBI Emunah Solo Baru Sukoharjo. Objective: To know the correlation between the level of knowledge about drugs and stigma on drug addicts with the motivation not to use drugs in adolescents. Research Subject: Research sample are 63 teenagers / youth of GBI Emunah Solo Baru Sukoharjo by using Saturation sampling technique. Research Subject: Research sample are 63 teenagers / youth of GBI Emunah Solo Baru Sukoharjo by using Saturation sampling technique. Result of the research: By Bivariate test obtained the result p = 0.000 and p <0.05. By Multivariate test obtained result of value Negelkerke Square 60.3% Conclusion: There is a relationship between the level of knowledge about drugs with the motivation of not using drugs, and there is also a relationship between the stigma of drug addicts with the motivation not to use drugs. That the level of knowledge about drugs and stigma in drug addicts together related to non-drug motivation 60.3% while the remaining 39.7% influenced by other variables outside the study. Abstract

Background:  Based on a WHO’s research in 2011, traffic accidents are included among the top-10 of  the death causes in Indonesia. The traffic accidents are influenced by the knowledge lacks of the accidents impact for health. The proper traffic knowledge, education and age level of someone influences in motivation keeping safer and healthier  themself  by doing the right way on traffic. Regarding above, it is necessary to conduct a research about the effect of the traffic knowledge, education and age level on the motivation to compliance the traffic properly to the citizen. Research Objective : to determine the influence of the traffic knowledge, education and age level on the motivation to compliance the traffic properly to the citizen. Research Subjects : the study sampling of 200 peoples residing in the are of The Surakarta Traffic Department office by using Saturated sampling techniques. Results : by the Bivariate test  shows that there was an influence on the traffic knowledge level towards the obedience motivation in proper traffic (p = 0.000,  p < 0.005), there was no influence on the education level towards the obedience motivation in proper traffic (p = 0.437, p > 0.005), and there was an influence on the age level  towards the obedience motivation in proper traffic   (p = 0.000,  p < 0.005).
