Abstract

AbstractKnow can be defined as considering a items which have been studied previously. Thismatter can be interpreted that pregnant mother which have owned previous experienceor knowledge will affect at behavior, in this case is anxiety which can happened atpregnant mother when previously do not obtain knowledge about labour process.Pursuant to brief interview at some pregnant mother say that in this time experience ofanxiety because will face labour. Some pregnant mother tell not yet had experience bearand do not know how process bear which in fact when can bear normally. The purpose ofthis study was to know knowledge relation about labour process with anxiety level in faceof labour.The Subjects who involed as population in this research were 52 womans who pregnantin trimester II and trimester III. This research represent analytic research with desainresearch of correlation. While used by plan is sectional cross.From result of Pearson Corelation SPSS version program test 18.0 with = 5% ( 0.05)obtained p equal to 0,001 so that assess p < 0.05, with result of correlation - 0,928. It canbe conclusion that is negative correlation between knowledge with anxiety level in face ofcopy process pregnant mother in Sukoharjo region.Keywords: Knowledge and anxiety level.

Abstract

Background: Smoking affects blood circulation and makes mothers and babies exposedto hazardous chemicals. Every time a mother smokes, her baby gets less oxygen.Nicotine in cigarettes decreases blood flow to the placenta. At the same time carbonmonoxide (CO) lowers the amount of oxygen carried by blood. In addition, there are toxicchemicals that usually interfere the development of infants (Rahmalia, 2009). Apreliminary study conducted by the author at the Maternity House of Sri Panuntun, PedanKlaten District, there were 30 babies born in August to September 2017, revealed thatthere were 6 babies suffered from low birth weight, while 24 babies have normal birthweight.The purpose: Describing the relationship of pregnant women passive smokers with theincidence of Low Birth Weight was the aim of this study.The subjects : The population in this study was all mothers who gave birth at MaternityMother Sri Panuntun Klaten in January-March 2018 accounted for 55 respondents.The results: The result of this research by using Pearson Chi-Square correlation testobtained p = 0.000.The conclusion: There was a positive correlation between pregnant women who arepassive smokers with the incidence of low birth weight babies.Keywords: Pregnant women, Passive smokers, Low birth weight babies.

Abstract

Background: According to Fuady and Bangun's research (2013) iron deficiency anemia in pregnancy is the condition of mothers with hemoglobin levels below 11 gr% in the first and third trimesters or hemoglobin levels <10.5 gr% in the second trimester and is one of the causes of death in pregnant women . In Indonesia the prevalence of pregnancy anemia is relatively high, which is 38% - 71.5% with an average of 63.5%. The results of the analysis in this study knowledge affect the adherence of respondents with p = 0.011 (p <0.05). From the initial survey in Slogoretno Jatisrono Wonogiri Village conducted by researcher in 3 couples of childbearing age, only 1 mother had enough knowledge about anemia. The purpose: Describing the relationship between Knowledge Level About Anemia with Prevention Anemia for pregnancy preparation in couples of childbearing age. The research is analytic with correlation design, this study aimed to analyze the relationship of knowledge about anemia as the independent variable and anemia prevention for pregnancy preparation as the dependent variable with the number of respondents 55 people. The results of the study using the Chi-Square Correlation Test obtained p at 0,000 Results: Couples of childbearing age with high knowledge level were 40 respondents (72.73%), while those with low knowledge level were 15 respondents (27.27%). Prevent anemia performed optimally by couples of childbearing age were 28 respondents (50.91%) while anemia prevention measures were less than 27 respondents (49.09%). The Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge level about anemia with anemia prevention for preparation of pregnancy in couples of childbearing age.
