AbstrakMembentuk karakter religius tidak semata-mata terealisasikan di keseharian anak didik, akan tetapi membutuhkan proses yang mana peran guru adalah salah satu kunci keberhasilan dalam pembentukan karakter religius. Rumusan masalah yakni bagaimana perencanaan pembentukan karakter religius melalui pencak silat Pagar Nusa di SMPI Abu Ghonaim Bumiaji Kota Batu, bagaimana proses pembentukan karakter religius melalui pencak silat Pagar Nusa di SMPI Abu Ghonaim Bumiaji Kota Batu, dan bagaimana evaluasi pembentukan karakter religius melalui pencak silat Pagar Nusa di SMPI Abu Ghonaim Bumiaji Kota Batu. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis studi kasus. Lokasi penelitian di SMPI Abu Ghonaim Bumiaji Batu. Sumber data atau informan dalam penelitian ini yakni anak didik yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler pencak silat pagar nusa berjumlah 20 anak, para pelatih dan kepala sekolah. Adapun perencanaan pembentukan karakter religius melalui pencak silat pagar nusa yaitu tujuan, metode, cara menyampaikan, bahan materi yang disajikan dan media/alat yang digunakan. Proses perencanaan pembentukan karakter religius melalui pencak silat pagar nusa yaitu arahan, keteladanan, pembiasaan dan hukuman. Evaluasi perencanaan pembentukan karakter religius melalui pencak silat pagar nusa yaitu disiplin dengan menghimbau anak didik untuk tidak telat ketika latiha, jujur dengan tanpa memantau anak didik ketika menerima teguran push up (jujur terhadap diri sendiri), rendah hati dengan tidak merasa sakit hati ketika tanding antar teman dan cedera ringan dan yang terakhir kekeluargaan dengan sikap simpati dan empati anak didik terlihat.Kata kunci: pembentukan karakter religius, pagar nusa AbstractForming religious character is not only realized in the daily life of students, but requires a process in which the teacher's role is one of the keys to success in forming religious character. The planning for the formation of religious character through the fence of Nusa Pencak Silat is the purpose, method, method of delivery, the materials presented and the media/tools used.
