<![CDATA[ABSTRACTThe case of sale and purchase agreements for Small Islands in Indonesia has often appeared in the public, especially foreign citizens who are more interested in controlling land rights on an island because of the many potentials that can be exploited in these Small Islands. The problems discussed are what is the background for the sale and purchase agreement of Small Islands to foreigners in Indonesian territory? What are the legal consequences after the sale and purchase agreement of Small Islands in the territory of Indonesia to foreign citizens from the perspective of agrarian law? And what is the role of the Regional Government in protecting Small Islands in the territory of Indonesia? The research method used is normative juridical research with a statutory and conceptual approach. Permasalahan yang dibahas adalah apa yang melatarbelakangi terjadinya perjanjian jual beli Pulau-Pulau Kecil kepada Warga Negara Asing di wilayah Indonesia? bagaimana akibat hukum setelah terjadinya perjanjian jual beli Pulau-Pulau Kecil di wilayah Indonesia kepada Warga Negara Asing dalam perspektif hukum agraria? Dan bagaimana peran Pemerintah Daerah dalam melindungi Pulau-Pulau Kecil di wilayah Indonesia? Metode penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan jenis penelitian yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan undang-undang dan konseptual.
