Abstract

AbstrakDengan melihat kasus Carok yang terjadi, maka dapat dipahami  bahwa selama ini proses penyelesaian Carok belum dilaksanakan secara optimal. hal ini didukung dengan adanya penyimpangan oknum aparat penegak hukum di dalam merekayasa berita acara di pengadilan dan salah satu contohnya adalah rekayasa vonis hukuman terhadap pelaku carok yang vonis hukumannya tidak pernah lebih dari 5 tahun, meskipun pelaku carok menewaskan lebih dari satu orang.Kata kunci: carok, hukum adat, hukum pidana, penyelesaian AbstractBy looking at the Carok case that occurred, it was understood that so far the Carok settlement process had not been carried out optimally. this was supported by the existence of irregularities in law enforcement officers in manipulating the minutes in the court and one example was the fabrication of a sentencing sentence against the perpetrators of carok whose sentences were never more than 5 years, even though the perpetrators of carok killed more than one person.Keywords: carok, customary law, criminal law, settlement
