Abstract

This research was motivated by observations made by researchers regarding student interest in implementing physical education learning at Bhakti Praja Middle School in Kebumen Regency. Many influencing factors include the physical education facilities and infrastructure available at the school. This research aims to determine the facilities and infrastructure and interest in learning physical education of Bhakti Praja Middle School students in Kebumen Regency. This type of research is descriptive quantitative and correlational. The instrument used is a questionnaire, the data collection technique is observation and documentation. The population of this research is all Bhakti Praja Middle School students in Kebumen, totaling 157 students for the 2023/2024 academic year. This research used a sample of 10% of Bhakti Praja Middle School students, namely 76 students. The sampling technique uses random sampling. Based on the results of data analysis of observations of physical education facilities and infrastructure at Bhakti Praja Middle School in Kebumen Regency 2023/2024, it is known that the number of physical education facilities and infrastructure is in the ideal category for the number of facilities and infrastructure with a value of 80% and with a total percentage of own ownership of 95% as well as for general ownership 5%. And the results of the interest questionnaire based on respondents' responses can be seen that 3.94% of students have very good interest, 35.52% of students have good interest, 31.57% of students have sufficient interest, 21.05% of students have poor interest, 7, 89% of students have very little interest. Based on the results of the correlation and reliability test analysis, it was found that N data was 76 people, the correlation was 1 and Cronbach's Alpha was 806. Facilities and infrastructure have a big influence on students' interest in learning at Bhakti Praja Middle School, Kebumen.

Abstract

Pencak silat is a game (skill) in defending oneself with the skill of parrying, attacking and defending oneself, either with or without weapons. Student interest in learning at SMP 2 Sruweng Kebumen regarding pencak silat learning material is lacking. This is because the Pencak Silat Martial Arts subject, in its application, always uses the lecture method every time in the learning process, this causes less development of learning abilities and individual development so that learning abilities decrease. The learning model tested in this research is the Direct Instruction learning model using Peching Pad. This research aims to find out how much influence the Direct Instruction learning model using Peching Pad has on the learning outcomes of pencak silat crescent kicks in class IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Sruweng, Kebumen Regency in 2024. This research is an experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was male students in class IX of SMP Negeri 2 Sruweng, Kebumen Regency. The sampling used was purposive sampling. Class IX A boys and is the class created the experimental class consisted of 28 students. The instrument used in this research is a test used to measure the ability of pencak silat front kick technique skills. Data analysis uses the t test. The research results are as follows, the t-test results obtained a value of tcount > ttable (13.104 > 2.05) at a significance level of 5%. So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest. If we look at the mean difference figure of 16.97, this shows that the Direct Instruction learning model using Peching Pad provides a change in the results of pencak silat sickle kicks, namely 16.97 more than before the learning was given with an increase of 26.69%. The Direct Instruction learning model using Peching Pad has an influence on learning outcomes for pencak silat sickle kicks. The conclusion from the research results is that there is a significant influence of the Direct Instruction learning model using Peching Pad on learning outcomes for sickle kicks with a percentage of 26.69%. For this reason, the Direct Instruction learning model using Peching Pad is influential and needs to be implemented so that the results of learning the Pencak Silat sickle kick are maximized. The abstract should be clear, concise, and descriptive. This abstract should provide a brief introduction to the problem, objective of paper, followed by a statement regarding the methods and a brief summary of results. Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of physical fitness of male and female students of SD Negeri 1 Karangpoh. This study is a quantitative descriptive study with a presentation of the percentage of the level of physical fitness which will later be expressed is described in terms of the physical condition (VO2Max) of students of SD Negeri 1 Karangpoh. The sampling technique used total sampling, with 40 students participating. The instrument used in this study was the bleep test. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis in the implementation of the sports measurement test that measured the VO2Max level of students of SD Negeri 1 Karangpoh. From the results of the study and discussion, it can be concluded that the results of the bleep test indicate that the level of endurance possessed by students as a whole still has a rating that is included in the category of less. can be seen from the results obtained having the lowest result of 20.8 and the highest value in this test is 44.5. From these findings, it is necessary to carry out follow-up to improve students' physical fitness, which is expected to improve physical fitness can encourage students to be even better in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of drill training using wall targets on improving basic volleyball underpassing techniques in extracurricular participants at SMP Negeri 1 Tambak. The data collection instrument in this study used the Volleyball Skills Test for Ages 13-15 Years. The subjects of this research were extracurricular volleyball participants at SMP Negeri 1 Tambak, consisting of 20 students (12 boys and 8 girls). The results of instrument testing showed validity of 0.733 and reliability of 0.758. Meanwhile, the normality results show a p value (Sig.) greater than 0.05, so it can be concluded that the data is normally distributed. The results of this study showed a significant increase in down-passing ability. The average student score increased from 19.85 to 36.1. The increase in the lower passing ability of extracurricular volleyball participants at Tambak 1 State Middle School resulted in a mean difference between the pre test and post test of 16.25 and t count 7.960 > t table 2.093. The drill method using a wall target has a significant impact on the bottom passing ability of volleyball extracurricular participants at SMP Negeri 1 Tambak.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the basic long service technique in badminton among sixth-grade students at MIN 4 Kebumen through the application of the drill method. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The study involved 26 students (9 boys and 17 girls) as subjects. The instruments used were skill tests, observation sheets, and documentation. The results showed a significant improvement in long service skills. The average student score increased from 48.25 in the pre-cycle to 52.10 in the first cycle and 77.17 in the second cycle. Furthermore, the percentage of students reaching the "Good" and "Very Good" categories increased from 12% in the pre-cycle to 77% in the second cycle. These findings highlight the effectiveness of the drill method in badminton learning. This study recommends utilizing the drill method in physical education to enhance students' motor skills.
