Abstract

Health equipment is a supporting tool for medical services. Health services tha are well sipported by equipment that is good, safe, and in accordance with its function so that there is no error in the patient's diagnosis. Calibration is aseries of actovities that form a relationship between the value indicated bt a measuring instrument system, or a values represented by a measuring material, with known value that are related to the magnitude measured in certain conditon.

Abstract

Of the advances that have had a positive impact on the development of health equipment, one of which is an infrared therapy device. Infrared therapy is one of the tools in the field of physiotherapy that is used to improve blood circulation, helping to reduce muscle aches, muscle aches, shoulder or joint stiffness, etc. This tool is used to determine the safe distance of infrared radiation exposure and Up-down movement for a more even therapeutic process. Infrared therapy uses the HC-SR04 Ultrasonic sensor to determine the distance and drive of a DC motor. Users can simply adjust the sitting position with a distance of 45 cm to 60 cm, the lights will turn on with the specified time. This tool will work if the distance of the patient includes a distance of 45 cm to 60 cm, if the distance is below 45 cm and above 60 cm the infrared light will not turn on and the motor will turn off because the safe distance of exposure is 45 cm - 60 cm. -down according to the list of programs created. The distance display can be seen on the LCD display. The advantage of this tool is that it can determine the safe distance of infrared therapy light and up and down movements.

Abstract

The current Infrared therapy device is still operated manually and there is no data on the length of the system's irradiation time. Lack of manufacturer's Infrared devices when used by physiotherapists do not know the exact time produced by Infrared light. This can pose a risk of neglect in monitoring the length of time the patient is exposed to the radiation. To overcome these problems, an infrared therapy device is designed which is equipped with a timer / timer system based on the ATMega8535 microcontroller. With this timing / timer system, we can find out the age of the infrared lamp (life time) according to the amount of usage needed so that the lamp replacement can be estimated according to the total usage of the IR lamp. With this system, on the other hand it is very useful for physiotherapy operators where physiotherapy operators can find out the time of use / irradiation of Infrared therapy devices to patients. So it can help patients who need infrared therapy without fear of side effects due to time that is not in accordance with the required therapy process.

Abstract

An electrocardiograph is a device that can display a signal graphic showing the process of the heartbeat. From these signals it can be seen whether a person's heart rate is normal or not. The method used in this research is quantitative observation. Which aims to analyze the calibration of the Electrocardiograph (ECG) device using a simulator (Phantom ECG). And also aims to determine the results of the data obtained after observing the workflow of the tool. From the results of electrocardiograph testing at the Health Facility Security Center (BPFK) Medan, the results were obtained. Electrocardiograph testing at the paper speed set point 25 mm / sec 10 mm / mv obtained results of 25.18 +- 0.37 because it is within a tolerance value of +- 5%. At the paper speed set point of 50 mm / sec, 10 mm / sec, the result is 50.16 +- 0.37 because it is within a tolerance value of +- 5%. At the sensitivity setting point of 5 mm / mv, 25 mm / sec, the result is 5.24 +- 0.37 because it is within a tolerance value of +- 5%. At the sensitivity setting point of 10 mm / mv, 25 mm / sec, the result is 10.22 +- 0.37 because it is within a tolerance value of +- 5%. And at the sensitivity setting point of 20 mm / mv, 25 mm / sec, the result is 20.26 +- 0.36 because it is within a tolerance value of +- 5%.

Abstract

Jaundice in newborns from January 2013 to December 2015, with a sample size of 223 babies. To treat jaundice in babies, Phototherapy is used. Phototherapy is the first action therapy for newborns with hyperbilirunemia. The provision of effective phototherapy is the main factor in the rapid management of hyperbilirubinemia.

Abstract

Sustainable health services need to be supported by equipment that is always in a ready-to-use condition and can be functioned properly. One of them is the pumpa syringe tool, through the provision of suitable equipment, preventive maintenance is needed including periodic maintenance and implementation of testing and calibration. The method used in this research is quantitative research with analytical descriptive method which aims to analyze the results of the syringe pump calibration using an infusion pump analyzer and also aims to determine the results of the data obtained after observing the workflow of the tool.From the results of examinations that have been carried out on the syringe pump calibration using the infusion pump analyzer at the Medan Health Facility Security Center (BPFK), the results obtained from the flow rate test of the syringe pump tool at the 10 mL/h point are 9.7 +- 0.4 mLh, so the final result is 9.7 + 0.4 = 10.1 mL/h or 9.7 - 0.4 = 9.3 mL h, it can be concluded that the measurement results that have been made are still within the 10% tolerance limit of the 10 mL/h. Measurement point value Occlusion test the syringe pump tool at the point of 100 mL/h yields 9.97+- 0.4 psi, so the final result is 9.97 + 0,4 = 10.37 psi or 9.97 - 0.4 = 9.57 psi, so it can be concluded that the measurement results that has been doneis still within the tolerance limit of <- 20 psi In performing then calibration.

Abstract

Infant warmer is one of the electromedical devices used to provide comfort and warmth to newborns, where the baby needs a temperature that is in accordance with the temperature in the mother's womb, which is between 34oC – 37oC. The purpose of this research is to study the Calibration technique and the calculation of the uncertainty of temperature measurement data.The results obtained from the calibration and calculations are ± 0,54oC for temperature. From these results, it was stated that the infant warmer was declared fit for use. As a rule, the test pass threshold value is ± 2 oC for temperature.
