Abstract

The exiting infrared therapy equipment is still operated manually and there is no long data and distance to use infrared lights(the Philips brand infrared manual type R925 UNP 20002). This raises the risk of negligence in monitoring the length of the therapy and recording the usee of lights which in turn can endanger patients and effect of therapy received . To overcome this problem, an infrared light therapy device based on Arduino Mega microcontroller is desaiengd which is equipped with setting the irradiation time and the illumination distance to be able to help physiotherapy operators, especially patiens who need infrared devices without the fear of side effects due neglect of the physiotherapy operator. The effect of the proximity sensor on the patient is that the farther the object or patient is from the patient, the temperature will decrase and vice versa, the closer the distance to the object, the hotter the temperature.

Abstract

Medical devices are devices that are always in a ready-to-use condition. and can function properly. This requires the Integrated Laboratory of Sari Mutiara University to be able to manage and maintain medical equipment as effectively and efficiently as possible. If this maintenance function is running well, then the quality of the medical equipment used will be good. This research aims to determine the maintenance and care system for the Baby incubator device, know what the Baby incubator is, and to know the principles of work.This research is a descriptive analysis with qualitative methods. The instrument used is by conducting in-depth interviews, observation and documents. The results of this study indicate that in its implementation, the maintenance system cannot be run properly, due to limited technical personnel, lack of training, insufficient maintenance costs, maintenance SOPs are not in accordance with procedures. Planning, organizing, and monitoring are not well implemented so that the preventive and corrective maintenance systems cannot run properly.

Abstract

CPAP is an electromedical device used to provide breathing aids. Especially in babies who have difficulty breathing or have sleep apnea. The aim of this research is to study the calibration techniques and uncertainty calculations on the CPAP tool. The results obtained from the calibration and calculations to find out the average value, so that these results are stated that the CPAP is fit for use.
