Psychological distress is defined as an emotional problem characterized by different psychological symptoms, such as depression and anxiety. The college environment especially for medical students can cause psychological distress. Factors that can be related to psychological distress are due to adjustment, learning new things, competition, social problems, high demands, fatigue, poor support, and lack of rest. Therefore, psychological distress is a mental health problem that is a new problem for medical students. This paper aimsto find out the difference in The Kessler Psychological Distress-10 (K-10) score in first and third-year students of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Science Universitas Prima Indonesia. The method in this study is an observational analytic study with a diagnosis of unpaired numerical comparative analytic study to assess differences in The Kessler Psychological Distress-10 (K-10) score in first and third-year students of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Science Universitas Prima Indonesia using The Kessler Psychological Distress-10 (K-10) assessment instrument.
