Abstract

The aims of this research were to reveal the system procedure for granting mortgage loans under a murabahah contract at Bank BRISyariah Sub-Branch Ahmad Yani Pontianak and to find out whether the mortgage loans offered at BRISyariah Sub-Branch Ahmad Yani was in accordance with the murabahah contract. The research used a descriptive method through classification, complilation, interpretation, and analysis to provide a clear picture for solving problems, especially with regard to the system and procedure for granting mortgage loans in order to anticipate arrears at BRISyariah Sub-Branch Ahmad Yani Pontianak. The results of  the research on the system and procesure for granting mortgage loans under a murabahah contract at Bank BRISyariah Sub-Branch Ahmad Yani Pontianak showed that the role of the Bank as a provider of funds could grant a miximum of 80 % of teh sellinh price of the house, and in choosing the object of contract, customers were given the freedom to choose according to their needs, and mortgage loans at Bank BRISyariah Sub-Branch Ahmad Yani Pontianak were somewhat in accordance with the murabahah contract.   Keyword : Mortgage Loans, Sytem and Prosedures, Murabahah Contract
