Abstract

Abstrak. Bimbingan konseling merupakan pelayanan yang cukup efisien yang dilakukan tiap individu atau bahkan komunitas dalam rangka menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi yang seseorang. Adanya bimbingan konseling dapat mempermudah penyelesaian terhadap konflik yang terjadi. Hal ini sejalan dengan yang terjadi di Pondok Pesantren Al-Qomariyah Deli Serdang. Dalam temuan dan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, adanya bimbingan konseling ternyata membuat keefektifan dalam penyelesaian masalah lebih bertambah. Adanya bimbingan konseling juga dapat mengurangi Tindak pelanggaran terhadap diri sendiri ataupun orang lain. Dalam penelitian yang dilakukan, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif sebagai metode. Dengan sampel penelitian yaitu beberapa orang pengajar/guru asrama dan santri yang ada. Karena menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang merupakan penelitian yang menghasilkan dan mengolah data yang sifatnya menggambarkan, menerangkan, menjelaskan secara rinci permasalahan yang diteliti dengan mempelajari suatu kejadian, maka temuan/hasil yang peneliti dapatkan bahwa pelayanan bimbingan konseling yang diberikan guru kepada peserta didik dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri santri untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapinya. Guidance and counseling is a fairly efficient service that is carried out by each individual or even a community in order to solve the problems faced by a person. The existence of counseling guidance can facilitate the resolution of conflicts that occur. This is in line with what happened at the Al-Qomariyah Islamic Boarding School in Deli Serdang. In the findings and results of the research conducted, the existence of counseling guidance turns out to increase the effectiveness in solving problems. The existence of counseling guidance can also reduce violations against oneself or others. In the research conducted, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive approach as a method. With the research sample, there are several teachers / dormitory teachers and students. Because it uses a qualitative descriptive research approach which is research that produces and processes data that describes, explains, explains in detail the problems studied by studying an incident, the findings / results we found that the counseling services provided by teachers to students can improve students' self-confidence to solve the problems they face. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the STEM learning model on students' numeracy literacy skills. The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning model is an interdisciplinary instructional approach that integrates concepts and practices from science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to solve real-world problems. This model emphasizes inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, encouraging students to apply knowledge across disciplines in a cohesive and meaningful way. STEM education aims to enhance students’ cognitive engagement and prepare them for future academic and career challenges in a rapidly advancing technological world. The study was conducted at SMP Darussalam with a sample size of 27 students. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing data analysis techniques such as normality and homogeneity tests. Subsequently, a t-test was conducted to assess the influence of the STEM model in mathematics learning. The results of the study indicate a significant effect on students' numeracy literacy skills, as evidenced by the average test scores, which increased from 18,852 on the pretest to 30,704 on the posttest. This finding suggests that the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) is accepted.
