Abstract

Micro-hydro Power Plant had three primary components: water (as the energy resource), turbine, and generator. Water that flew in a specific capacity was channeled from a certain height to the installation house (turbine house). In the powerhouse, the water installation pounded the turbine that made the turbine received direct energy from the water and turn it into mechanical energy and caused the turbine shaft to spin. Changes in the loading could cause fluctuation in the system’s frequency and voltage. This problem could damage electrical equipment. Therefore, the Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) was used to control and stabilize the voltage. This research used PID controller to obtain the optimized control parameter in the Micro-hydro Power Plant. This research compared the simulations of without control method, with PID-ZN control method, and with PID-DE method to obtain the best control method. The comparison simulations showed that the best response in the micro-hydro plant and the AVR system was from the PID-DE controller. These results might be a reference for future research with other methods that might generate better results.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) type 2 was one of systemic disease that cause high morbidity and mortality rate in Indonesia. This time Erectile Dysfunction (ED), one of DM type 2 complication become a serious issue because firstly the incidence of erectile dysfungtion is high. 50%-80% of people with DM type 2 have ED, Secondly this problem impact to patient life medicaly (psychology and infertility) as well as nonmedicaly (materials long divorve and family). Etiology of ED ed DM type 2 are diabetic neuropathy, diabetic angiopathy, psychis and hormonad factor. All of them earelated to duration of DM type 2. The research aims to learn about correlation between duration of DM type 2 with ED on Arifin Achmad Hospital pekanbaru. This study use cross sectional method the population were all of out patient care in Arifin Achmad Hospital. The study held on July – Agust 2013 with nonprobability sampling technique, consecutive sampling, and there are 42 responden. Based on the contingency coefficient test results, there were correlation between of duration of DM type 2 with ED (p= 0,012, r= 0,453). There is correlation between duration of DM type 2 with ED, with the strength of correlation and the direction of the positive correlation between duration of DM type 2 with ED.

Abstract

Yoghurt adalah jenis suatu minuman yang melimpah akan zat gizi dan mempunyai harga yang terjangkau. Pada proses pembuatan yoghurt membutuhkan starter yang berasal dari bakteri  untuk menciptakan cita rasa yang asam. Maksud dari dilaksanakannya pengabdian adalah untuk mengambangkan skill UMKM yang terkenal akan susu sapi perah di desa Claket ini. Melalui pengabdian ini juga akan mencegah terjadinya stunting dan kurangnya gizi terhadap anak. Metode yang dijalankan pada proses pengabdian ini adalah menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif melalui beberapa tahap aktivitas seperti survey atau observasi ke tempat   secara langsung, studi literatur, serta Sosialisasi. Pengabdian yang sudah dilaksanakan di Desa Claket, Pacet, Kabupaten Mojokerto dan diikuti oleh mahasiswa sebanyak 16. Dalam hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa terjadinya minat yang meningkat dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan UMKM pengolahan susu menjadi yoghurt tersebut, serta penelitian ini juga membuktikan bahwa sudah melakukan penyuluhan pemberian materi pengetahuan mengenai sosialiasi stunting dan sosialiasi pembuatan susu menjadi yoghurt. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan penyuluhan pembuatan susu sapi perah menjadi yoghurt yang dilakukan itu bisa mengembangkan keterampilan UMKM dan kesehatan penduduk di Desa Claket, Kecamatan Pacet terutama pada kalangan ibu rumah tangga.
