Abstract

The development of free-range chickens has several obstacles, including low productivity, small scale, the way to overcome the limitations of free-range chickens is to apply a separate breeding process from the parent by means of an incubator. The goal in the incubator is to produce more chicks. This study aims to provide convenience for farmers. Because this automation tool can make it easier for farmers to maintain and care for chicks, because basically chick incubators do require special maintenance and the use of IoT in the electronics world has been very much and is still growing. The use of IoT has penetrated almost all human activities such as livestock, agriculture, fisheries and various household appliances. The function of IoT itself in these fields is to simplify human work, monitor various equipment remotely and increase the effectiveness of the tool. So the pins took the title Chicken Care Incubator Using Temperature Sensors And Solar Power Based On Iot using NodeMCU microcontrollers, temperature sensors, voltage sensors, batteries, solar panels, relays, lights. The method used for research is Research and Development (R&D). The researcher used the XAMPP application and opened a web page to find out the system in the chick rearing incubator automatically values the battery voltage, temperature, lights on and off and time. The results of the design of the chick rearing incubator are automatically successful with a percentage of 100%. The results of the validator test are 87.5% and chicken breeders are 96.25%.

Abstract

Product Arrangement is a way of arranging products to attract consumers. Product arrangement is also known as display. But in fact there are still many entrepreneurs who have not paid attention to the arrangement of their products. So that many consumers are not interested in buying products because the arrangement is less attractive which makes the company's income does not increase. Therefore researchers have a solution to solve the problems that exist in the shop. That is, with the application of data mining to determine the arrangement of products using a priori algorithm, the results can be used as a company guide to determine the display of goods and as a guide to promote goods that are less sold to participate or sell quickly. Based on the results of the trials that have been carried out, it is known that the a priori algorithm is used to help determine the product structuring solution from the sales data of Warung Sayur Segar products so that it can later be used as a consideration in determining an effective structuring and sales strategy.

Abstract

Character is a unique way of interacting by individuals in creating a relationship. When interacting with people, it requires us to be face to face. The face is a very important element in communicating because from the face we can see a person's expression and the person's facial pattern so that their character can be known. The face is considered a reflection of a person's character so that a science called physiognomy has emerged. Physiognomy science is usually only known by experts, to get an easier way, technology can help provide solutions. The solution is to use a camera by taking a picture of the face whose character you want to understand, then doing a digital image processing (PCD). In this PCD process, there are several processes for processing images in order to obtain information from the image. One way is to use canny edge detection. Canny edge detection is used to identify or recognize object boundary lines in the image after the canny edge detection process is completed. The next process is to recognize face patterns by adding the euclidean distance method so that the face shape pattern can be recognized. The results of facial recognition test using the Canny and Euclidean distance method from 40 facial images, the percentage of success is 80%.

Abstract

Rubber plants have a very important role in the economy in Indonesia, because many people depend on this commodity. The area of rubber plantations in Indonesia has reached more than 3 million hectares, while Malaysia and Thailand, which are Indonesia's main competitors, have a rubber plantation area below that number. Only 15% of the rubber area is large plantations, while 85% is smallholder plantations which are managed simply as is, some even rely on natural growth. The problems faced by rubber farmers are disease and treatment problems. With these conditions, the researcher aims to build an expert system application for the diagnosis of rubber plant diseases by applying the depth first search method and Certainty Factor is used so that the expert system can reason like an expert, and to get the highest confidence value. The problems faced by rubber farmers are disease and treatment problems. Given these conditions, the researcher aims to build an expert system application for the diagnosis of rubber plant diseases by applying the depth first search certainty factor method. Depth first search and Certainty Factor methods are used so that the expert system can reason like an expert, and to get the highest confidence value. The application design by applying the depth first search method and certainty factor was successfully built into a web-based application. Black box testing on this application system has been successful in accordance with the design that has been made. The test results by experts on the identification system are in accordance with direct identification. And the results of beta testing produce a percentage of 83%, which means that users have a high level of satisfaction with the application. With the results of this test, the selected diseases were fungus disease with an accuracy of 87.54%, spot cancer with an accuracy of 97.64% and root rot disease with an accuracy of 97.41%.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to empower the community in organic fertilizer production as a step to support sustainable agricultural practices. The overuse of chemical fertilizers has been shown to damage soil structure and reduce long-term productivity. Therefore, there needs to be a systematic effort to reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers and increase the use of organic fertilizers (FMIPA UI 2020). Through this program, the community is provided with training and assistance in the production process of organic fertilizer from easily accessible natural materials, such as crop residues, animal manure, and household waste. The methods used include lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice in the field, so that participants are able to apply the knowledge independently. The results of this program show an increase in the community's understanding and skills in producing organic fertilizer, as well as a commitment to implementing sustainable agriculture on their farms. With the increased use of organic fertilizer, it is expected that soil quality can be improved and agricultural productivity can be maintained sustainably. This activity is a concrete step in supporting environmentally friendly agriculture and improving the economic welfare of the community through reduced fertilizer costs.
