Abstract

AbstractTamadun is an Arabic word means build cities. In this case, Tamadun for String Quartet build Melayu music with something new is the presentation form, that is String Quartet which actually unsusual in Melayu traditional music. Through the difference, become an idea to create the Tamadun for String Quartet using western melodic instrument. Violin, Viola and Cello are western instrument that support the idea of Tamadun for String Quartet.Tamadun for Sting Quartet is musical performance that need a production team to reach the goals. This piece is made as afinal examination and also to perfomed for general society. Tamadun for String Quartet applied a method and creation step. This creation step in important to make all of the aspect that will be create in this piece is working systematically and matched with the concept that the composer used in this piece are: observation, exploration, improvitation, and evaluastion. String Quartet is a music form that played as an ensamble with four string players. Generally, Sting Quartet usually play some music piece of Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi, and another classical composer. Abstract

Abstrak: ketertarikan untuk medeskripsikan fungsi tekstual dan kontekstual musik Jonggan. Adapun alasan memilih tinjauan musikologi musik Jonggan dikarnakan keunikan irama, pola tabuhan, serta syair musik jonggan dan penelitian yang terkait dengan musik Jonggan sampai saat ini tidak ada. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “bagaimana fungsi musik Jonggan dari segi tekstual? Dan “bagaimana fungsi kontekstual makna nilai yang terkandung di dalam musik Jonggan Dayak Kanayatn?” Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif, berbentuk kualitatif dengan pendekatan musikologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Musik Jonggan Dayak Kanayatn juga terdapat sistem motif melodi berdasarkan tinjauan musikologi yaitu pengulangan harafiah, ulangan pada tingkat lain (Sekuens), pembesaran interval, pemerkecilan interval, pembalikan, pembesaran nilai nada, pemerkecilan nilai nada. (2) Musik Jonggan Dayak Kanayatn memiliki sepuluh fungsi musik.   Kata Kunci: Musik Jonggan, Dayak Kanayatn, Dalam Tinjauan Musikologi   Abstract: interest in textual and contextual functions description Jonggan music. This study uses descriptive analysis, qualitative approach in the form of musicology. The results showed that: (1) Music Jonggan Kanayatn Dayak motifs also contained system based on the melody of musicology is the literal repetition, repetition at another level (sequence), enlargement of the interval, the interval pemerkecilan, reversal, enlargement of the value of the tone, the tone value smile. Abstract

Abstrak : Latar belakang penelitian ini untuk menstrukturkan analisis musik iringan tari Jepin Pisau. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Pendeskripsian struktur analisis musik iringan tari Jepin Pisau di Kota Pontianak. Teori yang digunakan adalah struktur, analisis musik, musik, musik iringan tari, musikologi, pola ritme, bentuk musik dan akord. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analisis. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan musikologi. Data penelitian ini adalah hasil wawancara, hasil observasi, hasil dokumentasi dan buku catatan harian mengenai musik iringan tari Jepin Pisau. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah observasi, komunikasi langsung dan studi dokumenter. Alat pengumpul data penelitian ini adalah peneliti sebagai instrumen utama, pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi dan alat dokumentasi. Pengecekan keabsahan data penelitian ini adalah perpanjangan pengamatan dan triangulasi teknik. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini. Kata Kunci : Struktur, Analisis, Musik Iringan, Tari Jepin Pisau. Abstract : The background of this research is to analysis musical structure of Jepin Pisau dance. The purpose of this research is to describe the analysis of music accompaniment of  Jepin Pisau dance at Pontianak City. The theory in this structure are, music analysis, music accompaniment, musicology, rhythm pattern, musical form and chords. The method of this research is descriptive method analisys. The form of this  research is qualitative. The approach of this research is musicology. The data of this research are from the result of interview, observation, documentation and daily notebook about background music of Jepin Pisau dance.  The technique of data collecting of this research are observation, direct comunication, and documentary study. Tools of data collecting in this research are the researcher as the main instrument, interview guideline, observation sheet, and documentation tool. To check the validity of this research, the researcher uses the extention of observation and the triangulation of sources.
