Abstract

The government's role in providing social assistance to reduce poverty has been going very well. However, in practice, there are obstacles to collecting and verifying data on prospective beneficiaries, so fast, precise, and accurate information is needed through the participation of the Community or Community to provide information regarding potential beneficiaries—social assistance. This study's goal is to create and develop a model of the Volunteered Geographic Information (VGI) system involving the participation of the Community to determine the effectiveness of the distribution of social assistance by the government and to support the role of a transparent government or good government. This research method is descriptive research with quantitative and qualitative descriptive approaches. This system also refers to the design, development, and stages of the VGI system process suitable for a crowd or community-based approach. The expected result is a VGI-based geographic information system: First: Collect and observe data on social assistance recipients in Aceh Tengah district, Aceh Province. Second: Designing and implementing a VGI-based geographic information system. Third: System testing through two stages: system functional and non-functional testing. The final results of this research are a web-based VGI Social Assistance system model and, for volunteers, the Android-based VGI Social Assistance application.

Abstract

A computer network system is defined as a collection of several independent computers connected to each other. This connection allows these computers to share information and programs with each other (Putuasduki, 2021). SOHO stands for Small Office, Home Office. SOHO is a hybrid apartment between residential and commercial space, where people can work and live in the same building. SOHO apartments are typically loft style, meaning they have high ceilings. High ceilings lend themselves well to building a mezzanine, an elevated area accessible by stairs that can be used as a bedroom or desk. (Armee et al., 2022). Mikrotik is a software-based operating system that turns a computer into a network router (Gamaliel and Arliyanto, 2022). This operating system is ideal for managing computer networks, such as building large or small computer network systems. (Putra et al., 2020). Gajah Putih University Faculty of Engineering always needs a very large network connection. In addition, many students use an internet connection. Difficulties in optimizing network use and equalizing bandwidth between students and faculties, internet network problems and difficulties in monitoring network users at the Gajah Putih Faculty of Engineering and students still asking for web searches off campus are the biggest problems. this lesson. For that we need a learning environment that can support the learning process in the field of computer networks. This study discusses learning media to build computer networks in small offices and home offices by using a proxy server, starting from the basic concept of computer networks so that the network can function properly. Network Development Life Cycle Model (NDLC). Flow Network Development Lifecycle Diagram Continuous process analysis is a step by step process that describes the journey of data or documents through ongoing processes in all research locations. The network topology that was operated at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Gajah Putih before using a proxy server is shown in Figure 2. Sharing Internet bandwidth with a proxy server enables efficient use of Internet bandwidth. By using a proxy server with Winbox, IT administrators can perform network configuration more easily.

Abstract

Disease is one of the factors that reduce the population of horses in Indonesia, in general, disease is a health problem. (T et al., 2015) In terms of origin, diseases can be grouped into two categories, namely diseases caused by infection and diseases caused by non-infection. Non-infectious diseases are diseases caused by the state of the body itself, such as allergies. and hormonal imbalance. The analytical method in this study uses the Certainty Factor (CF) method with several stages, namely data collection, problem identification, system design, system analysis, system implementation, and testing. Forward chaining reasoning technique which begins with the process of data collection and diagnostic facts. (Khoirul et al., 2021) forward chaining is carried out by using existing facts to draw conclusions, each fact will produce a conclusion in the form of a diagnosis and the process of indicating a measure of certainty against a fact or rule. The results of the study found that the results of collecting disease data, symptoms and rule bases obtained from an expert, can be made a disease rule chart, several symptoms of one type of disease and several symptoms with several diseases. Targeted outputs: Compulsory outputs are Monograph Books with ISBN with the title Application of Certainty Factor to detect racehorse disease (Case Study: Central Aceh Regency) and additional outputs of the Sinta 3 Accredited National journal.

Abstract

Pelatihan Penyusunan Proposal Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat DPPM bagi Dosen Perguruan Tinggi bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dosen dalam menyusun proposal yang sesuai dengan pedoman hibah yang disediakan oleh DPPM. Topik ini dipilih karena banyak dosen yang kesulitan dalam menyusun proposal penelitian dan pengabdian yang dapat lolos dalam seleksi hibah, meskipun banyak memiliki potensi riset dan pengabdian yang berkualitas. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pendekatan pelatihan berbasis interaktif, dengan materi yang meliputi teknik penulisan proposal, analisis masalah, serta strategi pengajuan hibah. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 32 peserta yang berasal dari berbagai perguruan tinggi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam menulis proposal penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang sesuai dengan standar DPPM. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga berhasil memotivasi peserta untuk lebih aktif dalam mengajukan proposal hibah. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan pelatihan ini sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dosen dalam menyusun proposal yang kompetitif, yang dapat berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Literasi digital merupakan keterampilan penting yang harus dimiliki masyarakat di era transformasi digital saat ini. Sayangnya, masih banyak kelompok masyarakat dari berbagai latar belakang yang belum memahami dasar-dasar pemrograman dan logika algoritma sebagai fondasi berpikir digital. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan konsep dasar pemrograman dan logika algoritma melalui pelatihan interaktif secara daring kepada 28 peserta dari berbagai kalangan. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada 6 Februari 2025 melalui aplikasi Zoom dengan pendekatan pembelajaran partisipatif dan praktik langsung menggunakan platform visual sederhana yang sesuai untuk pemula. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup tahap persiapan materi, pelaksanaan pelatihan, diskusi interaktif, dan evaluasi hasil kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman terhadap logika berpikir algoritmik dan dasar pemrograman, serta menunjukkan antusiasme dalam mengembangkan solusi digital sederhana. Pelatihan ini juga mendorong peserta untuk berpikir sistematis dan kreatif dalam memecahkan masalah. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam peningkatan literasi digital masyarakat dan dapat dijadikan model pelatihan serupa di masa depan untuk kelompok sasaran lainnya.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui kegiatan pemberdayaan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pelaku UMKM dalam memanfaatkan digital marketing dan platform e-commerce sebagai sarana pengembangan usaha di era ekonomi digital. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan dan pendampingan secara intensif dan berkelanjutan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada literasi digital peserta, baik dari aspek pemahaman konseptual maupun keterampilan praktis. Disamping itu, terdapat penguatan keterampilan teknis dalam pengelolaan toko daring, yang berlangsung seiring dengan terjadinya perubahan pola pikir pelaku UMKM. Program ini juga berhasil meningkatkan kinerja usaha, sekaligus mendorong kemampuan peserta dalam menerapkan strategi pemasaran berbasis data. Penguatan pada aspek branding produk juga turut mengalami perkembangan yang signifikan, yang kemudian diikuti dengan terbentuknya jejaring kolaboratif antar pelaku UMKM. Meskipun masih dihadapkan pada berbagai kendala, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi dan variasi tingkat adaptasi digital, pendekatan pelatihan dan pendampingan yang berkelanjutan terbukti mampu meminimalkan hambatan tersebut. Secara keseluruhan, program ini dapat dinyatakan berhasil dalam mendorong transformasi digital UMKM secara berkelanjutan, baik dari aspek peningkatan kompetensi maupun perubahan perilaku usaha, sehingga berkontribusi terhadap penguatan daya saing UMKM dalam ekosistem ekonomi digital.

Abstract

The implementation of the Internet of Things (IoT) at the smallest government levels, such as sub-districts and villages, is key to digital transformation towards Smart Villages in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the use of IoT technology to improve the efficiency and transparency of public services in sub-district areas. Using a qualitative approach and a literature review, this article explores how smart sensors, cloud-based data management systems, and self-service applications can reduce bureaucratic delays. The analysis shows that IoT integration can speed up administrative processing times by up to 40% and significantly increase the public satisfaction index. However, challenges such as digital infrastructure gaps and technological literacy in rural areas remain major obstacles. This study recommends collaboration between central and regional governments in standardizing IoT infrastructure and creating inclusive, responsive public services that meet citizens' needs in the industry 4.0 era.
