This study describes the creativity of the pie teacher in improving students’ cognitive, as well asanalyzing the supporting and inhibiting factors of the pie teacher’s creativity in improving students’cognitive. This research was conducted at SMP PGRI Cikarang Utara and used a naturalisticqualitative approach. The results showed that the creativity of PAI teachers was able to improvestudents’ cognitive abilities. In the teaching and learning process starting here, I saw the teachergiving a different method in general for memorizing the verses of the Qur’an, an unusual method,here the teacher wrote down pieces of the Qur’anic verse which were then scrambled and the studentswere divided into several groups. when each student is with their respective groups they compete toarrange the verse fractions with their group friends. This method is a way of memorizing a new verseof the Qur’an so that students can quickly memorize the verse. With the creativity of PAI teachers indeveloping students’ cognitive potential, students will get a more fun way of learning in the classroom,not monotonous. With the creativity of teachers, it can increase students’ knowledge in a learningprocess to receive new and more fun knowledge. Creative teachers will increase enthusiasm. students inlearning PAI lessons. Student knowledge in the application of student creativity takes a long time whilethe time allotted by the school for the field of Islamic religious education is 45 minutes. Constraintsother than in terms of time, namely the characteristics and skills of students who are different.
