Abstract

Education is a vehicle for creating an easy generation that is very important for the future. Parents are responsible for their children’s education. Parents must provide encouragement and motivate children to continue their education to the next level, especially to choose a school with consideration and care, so that children get quality education so that parents do not regret it in the future. In this study is a qualitative research that uses data collection techniques through observation, interviews to parents of students and documentation that aims to obtain information related to the mativation of parents who send their children to Islamic schools. Based on the results of research at MI Al Chaeriyah. One of the motivations of parents to send their children to Islamic schools is so that their children understand the norms of Islamic teachings that are in accordance with Islamic law and can be applied in everyday life. Then the constrains for parents to send their children to Islamic schools is the economic fator, because Islamic schools have a lot of costs. Such as tuition fees, cash, exams, committees, and others. So parents who want to send their children to Islamic schools must have special savings for school needs. And the implication is that many of the students have the development of attitudes. Starting from better morals, speaking politely honestly, knowing the teachings and laws applied in Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and determine teachers' inhibiting factors, supporting factors, and efforts to shape students' disciplined character in the online learning process in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMAN 19 Bekasi City. This research is qualitative. The research respondents were principals, vice principals for curriculum, vice principals for student affairs, Islamic religious education teachers, students, and parents of students. Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques, triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data reduction, presentation, and inference. The results showed that carried out the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers in shaping the disciplined character of students in online learning by providing fun learning for students, setting examples for students, providing motivation, direction, and guidance for students to continue to be disciplined in learning and worship, and giving sanctions. Against students who are not disciplined following applicable school regulations. Factors supporting PAI teachers' efforts in forming student discipline include school policies, teachers, and parental cooperation. SMAN 19 Bekasi City has a vision of "Achievement, Character, Noble Morals" so that the aspect of character building is the vision/goal of the school. There is good cooperation with parents who want to work together to guide, direct, and monitor students' attitudes and behavior at home. The inhibiting factor is that some students still do not know the importance of discipline, and some parents still lack attention to their children due to busy working parents, the community environment, and peers who do not provide examples in the application of discipline.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the example of the Prophet Muhammad ineducating children in the Islamic Parenting Book by Sheikh Jamal Abdurrahman. In this study, theauthor uses qualitative research methods with the type of library research, namely collecting datacontained in various library books that refer to the example of the Prophet Muhammad ineducating children as a primary data source and then also supported by various sources. Othersources that are still relevant as secondary data sources. Then in presenting the data, the writeruses descriptive analysis method. The results of this study indicate that according to Sheikh JamalAbdurrahman in his book entitled Islamic Parenting, the example that the Prophet Muhammadtaught in educating children includes several things that parents/educators must know, namely;teaches faith/tawhid, teaches worship, teaches science, guidance and advice, and self-habituation.
