Abstract

SIKA Viscocrete 1003 is a superpIasticizer for concrete mixtures in the form of Iiquid which can reduce water usage, thereby increasing the strength of concrete, on the other hand, using a superpIasticizer can change the condition of the concrete mixture to be easier to compact (workabiIity). This study aims to determine how much infIuence the addition of pIasticizer has on the compressive and tensiIe strength of the concrete and the segregation of the materiaI when mixing fresh concrete, with variations in adding pIasticizer of 0,3%, 0,4%, and 0,5% of the weight of cement. The test object used was a cyIinder with a size of fifteen cm x thirty cm, as many as twenty seven pieces. The method used in concrete mix pIanning is the ACI 211.1-98 method. The resuIts showed that the addition of pIasticizer up to 0,5% in the normaI concrete mixture did not significantIy affect the increase in the compressive strength and tensiIe strength of the concrete, as weII as the resuIts of materiaI segregation examinations in fresh concrete which showed a Iow sIump vaIue. The percentage increase in the maximum compressive strength of concrete is 5% with the addition of variations in the addition of pIasticizer from 0,3% to 0,5%. WhiIe the tensiIe strength of concrete has increased by 7,2% with the addition of variations of the same pIasticizer.

Abstract

The use of construction equipment is very influential on the work in the world of civil engineering, in this case especially heavy equipment. As an effort to increase agricultural production in South Sulawesi province, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) further expanded the irrigation network whose source came from the baliase dam in North Luwu Regency. In the construction of this irrigation network, the work process is still at the stage of scattering and compacting the soil using 4 tools, namely Excavator, Dump Truck, Dozzer, and Vibrator Roller. This research is carried out by quantitative methods by way of direct observation on the ground. Data processing is done to find out the productivity of each tool and see if the equipment used in the soil scattering and compaction work is in sync. Based on the results of the study, excavator productivity was 631,299 m3 / hour, DumpTruck was 335.69 m3 / hour, Dozer 603,405 m3 / hour, and Vibrator Roller 4987.5511 m3 / hour. From the results it can be seen that the productivity on the equipment used is out of sync which results in idle time on some tools, therefore the calculation of tool synchronization is carried out. From the results of calculations obtained that there is an addition of tools on dump trucks as many as 10 units to reduce idle time on construction equipment.

Abstract

Advances in construction fields resulting in increase in material prices such as cement so that study is carried out to improve concrete quality using materials that are easy to obtain as well as environmentally friendly. One of them is corn cob ash that is known to contain successive that can tie the aggregate of the concrete mixture. This study aimed to know the composition of concrete mixture with the use of corn cob ash and the effect on concrete characteristics in the variety 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15%. This study uses method mix design is American Concrete Institue (ACI) with planned concrete quality f’c 30 MPa and uses a cylinder dimensional 15 × 30 cm and beam dimension 60 × 15 × 15 cm. The result showed that corn cob ash can’t increase concrete characteristics in the variety above 4%.

Abstract

Entering the New Normal 2021 era due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all industries began to develop again, especially infrastructure development projects. Everyone is competing to take the initiative to create quality and efficient concrete by using the materials around it. This research focuses on the utilization of the aggregate of the To Puang River, Tana Toraja Regency as a concrete mix stacking material, to determine the value of compressive strength, split tensile strength value, flexural strength value, and elastic modulus value. The mix design of this study used the SNI 7656:2012 method. In this study, the planned quality target was f'c = 28 MPa with a water-cement factor (fas) of 0.44. The results of this study indicate that the average compressive strength is 30.290 MPa, the average split tensile strength is 2.902 MPa, the average flexural strength is 3.376 MPa, and the modulus of elasticity is 20820.747 MPa.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Produktivitas adalah suatu yang penting untuk semua tenaga kerja dalam menyelesaikan tugasnya masing-masing. Oleh karena itu, perhitungan mengenai produktivitas tenaga kerja penting dilakukan untuk mengontrol berjalannya suatu proyek konstruksi pada Proyek Pengembangan Trans Studio Mall Makassar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh produktivitas tenaga kerja pekerjaan bekisting kolom pada Proyek Pengembangan Trans Studio Mall Makassar. Bekisting kolom merupakan elemen penting yang tak terpisahkan pada sebuah proyek konstruksi. Bekisting berfungsi sebagai wadah beton yang sedang dibentuk yang kemudian dilepas ketika beton telah memenuhi standar yang telah ditetapkan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara pengamatan langsung di lapangan, penelitian ini berlangsung selama 7 jam dalam 10 hari dan dilakukan observasi kepada 4 tenaga kerja yang bertugas dalam mengerjakan bekisting kolom Proyek Pengembangan Trans Studio Mall Makassar. Setelah dilakukan pengamatan dilapangan dan dilakukannya pengolahan data serta dilakukan perbandingan koefisien tenaga kerja dilapangan dan tenaga kerja SNI 7394-2008 mengenai koefisien tenaga kerja, hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa adanya kenaikan produktivitas tenaga kerja dengan indeks tenaga kerja sebesar 33%. Untuk acuan perbandingan indeks produktivitas tenaga kerja, pada penelitian ini digunakan SNI 7394-2008 mengenai koefisien produktifitas tenaga kerja yang dibandingkan dengan produktivitas tenaga kerja dilapangan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa produktivitas tenaga kerja bekisting kolom pada Proyek Pengembangan Trans Studio Mall Makassar produktiv dengan indeks produktivitas 1,33 terhadap produktivitas SNI 7394-2008.
