Abstract

Face recognition is a person identification system that uses a person’s facial characteristics. Facial recognition is itself a branch of biometrics, which is a science that uses physical characteristics of a person to determine or disclose his identity. The system developed in this thesis is a system that uses face recognition feature extraction based on Principal Component Analysis (PCA). This technique involves taking a major component of facial database. To determine the accuracy of human face recognition system designed in this final project, has conducted trials using the system with as many as 60 input facial image of the database. From the results of testing this system, the result is a 80% system performance in recognizing the input image correctly.Keywords : Facial Recognition, biometrik, PCA.

Abstract

Peningkatan kualitas serta pelayanan pendidikan merupakan salah satu daya tarik yang menjadi perhatian masyarakat dalam memilih kriteria lembaga pendidikan, salah satunya dalam pengelolaan sistem informasi perpustakaan. Perpustakaan merupakan salah satu sarana penunjang yang wajib ada, karena keberadaan perpustakaan dapat membantu warga sekolah dalam proses belajar mengajar. Android merupakan alat hasil perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang memudahkan aktifitas manusia. Dalam perkembangannya mengakibatkan banyaknya perubahan positif dalam dunia informasi, khususnya dalam bidang administrasi perpustakaan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu merancang dan membangun aplikasi perpustakaan berbasis android untuk mempermudah peminjaman buku (studi kasus perpustakaan SMPN 2 PUBIAN) diharapkan mampu membantu mahasiswa dalam mencari referensi dan petugas perpustakaan dalam memonitoring peminjam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan metode waterfall. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan di perpustakaan di SMP Negeri 2 Pubian. Hasil penelitian adalah aplikasi perpustakaan berbasis android yang dibangun oleh peneliti cukup membantu pustakawan dalam proses peminjaman dan pengembalian buku lebih cepat dan efektif. Proses peminjaman tanpa harus menulis pada buku tulis yang rawan hilang dan rusak, serta proses pengembalian tanpa mencari pada buku satu persatu yang meyebabkan banyaknya antrian siswa siswi. Improving the quality and service of education is one of the attractions that is of concern to the public in selecting the criteria for educational institutions, one of which is in the management of library information systems. The library is one of the supporting facilities that must exist, because the existence of a library can help school members in the teaching and learning process. Android is a tool resulting from the development of information and communication technology that facilitates human activities. In its development resulted in many positive changes in the world of information, especially in the field of library administration. The aim of this research is to design and build an Android-based library application to make it easier to borrow books (case study of the SMPN 2 PUBIAN library) which is expected to be able to help students in finding references and library staff in monitoring borrowers. The research method used uses the waterfall method. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. The location of this research was carried out in the library at SMP Negeri 2 Pubian. The results of the research are that the Android-based library application built by the researcher is quite helpful for librarians in the process of borrowing and returning books more quickly and effectively. The borrowing process without having to write on notebooks which are prone to being lost and damaged, as well as the return process without searching the books one by one which causes lots of queues of students.

Abstract

Penyiraman tanaman merupakan suatu kegiatan yang dilakukan seseorang dalam melakukan perawatan atau pemeliharaan tanaman, karena sebuah tanaman membutuhkan air yang cukup sebagai sumber penghidupannya, Pada saat musim kemarau tiba, sehinggga cuaca penjadi panas dan kering membuat kita malas menyiram tanaman mawar. Untuk mendapat kebutuhan tumbuh dan berkembang tanaman. Proses penyiraman yang dilakukan manual dapat menyebabkan tanaman mawar tidak terawat dengan baik, karena pada proses manual sering terjadi keterlambatan dalam pemantauan atau monitoring sebuah tanaman, sehingga membuat tanaman tersebut kurang baik dalam pertumbuhannya.Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui apakah dengan memaanfaatkan sebuah alat penyiraman tanaman otomatis dengan menggunakan ESP 32 sebagai mikrokontrolernya dapat mengurangi terjadinya keterlambatan pentiraman tanaman mawar. Dengan adanya modl wifi yang tertanam pada ESP 32 dapat di maanfaatkan untuk pembuatan program monitoring yang terhubung ke jaringan internet, sehingga proses monitor dapat dilakukan dimanapun tempat asalkan ada jaringan internet.Alat penyiraman tanaman mawar otomatis berbasis ESP 32 ini dapat melakukan penyiraman ketika kelembaban kurang dari 45%. Berdasarkan penggunaan alat penyiraman otomatis berbasis ESP 32 memperoleh bahwa tanaman mawar jika akar tanaman mawar terlalu basah maka akar tanaman tersebut mudah membusuk. Hasil tersebut  lebih baik jika dibandingkan dengan sebelumnya yang penyiramannya masih secara manual. Watering plants is an activity out by someone in caring for or maintaining plans, because a plant needs enough water as a source of livelihood. When the dry season arrives, the weather become hot and dry, making us lazy to water roses. To get the needs to grow and develop plants. The watering pocess that is done manually can cause the rose plants to not be well cared for, because in the manual process there is often a delay in monitoring a plant, thus making the plant grow less well. In this study the aim was to find out whether using an automatic plant watering device using ESP 32 as a microcontroller could reduce delays in watering roses. With the wifi module embedded in ESP 32, it can be used to create a monitoring program that is connected to the internet network, so that the monitoring process can be done anywhere is an internet network. This ESP 32-based automatic rose watering when the humidity is less than 45%. Based on the use of an automatic watering tool based on ESP 32, it was found thay if the roots of a rose plant are too wes, the plant roots well easily rot. This result is better when compared to the previous watering which was still done manually.
