Abstract

Posyandu ialah kegiatan pelayanan dengan tujuan mendapatkan pelayanan kesehatan dasar, serta turunnya angka kematiaan ibu dan anak yang dibentuk untuk dan oleh masyarakat dari instansi terkait. Partisipasi masyarakat dibutuhkan dalam melaksanakan aktivitas posyandu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendefinisikan keikutsertaan kader posyandu dalam mendorong kontribusi masyarakat dan strategi kader posyandu dalam mendorong kontribusi masyarakat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan desain penelitian cross-sectional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober tahun 2021 di Posyandu Melati IV Kecamatan Medan Area, Kota Medan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa bentuk keikutsertaan yang didapatkan oleh ibu-ibu dibagi menjadi dua, yakni partisipasi dalam bentuk tenaga dan perwujudan program. Aspek utama yang membawa para ibu untuk berkontribusi dalam pelayanan kesehatan balita adalah lebih kepada aspek internal. Hal ini tampak dari wawasan dari ibu begitu pentingnya menjaga kesehatan. Kemudian aspek eksternal, seperti dukungan keluarga, yaitu suami setuju jika para ibu ikut berkontribusi. Aspek internal dan eksternal tersebut membuktikan sudah terlaksana sasaran dalam bidang kesehatan. Posyandu is a service activity with the aim of obtaining basic health services, as well as reducing maternal and child mortality rates which are established for and by the community from the relevant agencies. Community participation is needed in carrying out posyandu activities. This study aims to define the participation of posyandu cadres in encouraging community contribution and the strategy of posyandu cadres in encouraging community contributions. The type of research used is descriptive research with a cross-sectional research design. This research was conducted in October 2021 at the Posyandu Melati IV, Medan Area District, Medan City. The results showed that the form of participation obtained by the mothers was divided into two, namely participation in the form of energy and program realization. The main aspect that brings mothers to contribute to health services for children under five is more to the internal aspect. This can be seen from the mother's insight into how important it is to maintain health. Then external aspects, such as family support, where the husband agrees if the mothers contribute. These internal and external aspects prove that the targets in the health sector have been achieved.

Abstract

One indicator of a country's quality of life can be determined by the Human Development Index (HDI) which is seen based on life expectancy, literacy, education, and living standards. This study aims to explain the risk factors that cause illiteracy in school children in Batang Bulu Village, South Barumun District. In this study using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The method of collecting data is by interviewing and observing from several communities around Batang Baru Bulu. The findings that we got in this study were that there were 5 sources we interviewed about education and illiteracy, where from these interviews we got several factors why children have the possibility of being illiterate. These factors include: teacher factors, parental factors, child factors, heredity factors, economic factors, and environmental factors. There were 3 interviewees who said that the main factor for children to be illiterate was the teacher factor, while other respondents said that the main factor was the child's parents. From these data, it will be further explained in the results and discussion of this research
