Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze about the effect of budgetary participation, organizational commitment, and leadership styles on managerial performance.This is used primary data by the quetionnaries. Questionneries were distrubuted to principal, vice principal, along with his staff  involved in the preparation of the budget at a junior high school in South Tangerang as much as 54 quetionnaries. Number of quetionnaries returned was 43 quetionnaries. Sampling method used convinience sampling. The analysis method to examine hypothesis was regression analysis From the results of multiple regression, generate hypotheses such as the following,  that is: 1) Participation budget significant influence on managerial performance, 2) Organizational Commitment  significant influence on managerial performance, 3) Leadership style have no significant influence on managerial performance, 4) Budgetary participation, Organizational Commitment, and  leadership styles similarity significant influence on managerial performanceDOI: 10.15408/ess.v4i3.2439

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is one of the important things in improving service quality. This study aims to examine the factors that influence the level of author satisfaction in the management of scientific journals. Also, this study also aims to map the strengths and weaknesses of journal management at State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple regression and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the determinants of satisfaction level were physical appearance, reliability, and quality of articles. Also, this study shows SWOT results in quadrant V. Institutions found in quadrant V can implement hold and maintain strategies.DOI:10.15408/ess.v8i2.7957

Abstract

This research was aimed to analyze the effect of own-source revenue, general allocation grant, and inflation to economic growth in distric or urban Province of Central Java from 2011 to 2014. This research used secondary data which collected from Statistic Indonesia (BPS) of Central Java. The research uses multiple regression analysis method The result of this research show that: (1) own-source revenue has significant influence on economic growth in distric or urban Province of Central Java. (2) general allocation grant has no significant effect on economic growth distric or urban Province of Central Java. (3) Inflation has no significant effect on economic growth distric or urban Province of Central Java distric or urban Province of Central Java. (4) own-source revenue, general allocation grant, and inflation together (simultaneously) has significant influence on the economic growth in the district or urban of Central Java.DOI: 10.15408/ess.v5i2.2340

Abstract

This research aims to test influence of financial performance, company size and profit management on return of shares with dividend policy as moderation variable. This research was conducted in a manufacturing company registered in Indonesia Sharia stock index (ISSI) period 2016-2018. The sampling method in this study uses purposive sampling. The number of samples on this study was as many as 20 companies. The financial performance of the study is calculated by a debt to equity ratio. Hypothesis testing in this study used multiple regression methods and moderated regression analysis. The result of this research show the financial performance and company size has no effect on the stock return and earning management affects the stock return. Dividend policy is not able to moderate the influence of financial performance, company size and profit management on return of shares

Abstract

Dharmawanita UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is an activity forum that aims to develop the creativity, expertise of female employees and the wife of an employee of the Syarif Hidayatullah UIN Jakarta. Some activities managed by Dharmawanita are business units engaged in food and beverage providers in the canteen and catering to the academic community of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah in particular and the community in general. The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical evidence related to factors that influence customer satisfaction or customers who use products of the Dharmawanita business unit of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. In addition, this study also aims to analyze the factors that determine consumer purchasing decisions. The results showed that the factors that influence the level of customer satisfaction are: physical appearance, service, menu, taste, and price. Then, factors that influence consumer purchasing decisions whether inside or outside the campus environment are: menu, taste, and price.

Abstract

The purposes of this research to analyze the effects of investment opportunityset (IOS), structure capital, growth, and return on asset (ROA) to firm’s value. This researchused all the companies listed on Indonesian Exchange in the peroid 2012 until 2014. Thenumber of all companies that were became in this study were 119 companies with 3 yearobservation. Based on method purposive sampling, research sample total is 357 financialstatements and annual report. Data analyzed by regression data panel. Abstract

The issue about corporate environment disclosure nowadays is increasing. This research aims to analyze the influence of firm size, leverage, proportion of independent commissioners, corporate secretary and firm age to corporate environmental disclosure. Thirteen companies that listed at Jakarta Islamic Index during 2011-2014 are used as sample. Data was analyzed using multiple regression technique. The independent variables are firm size, leverage, and proportions of independent commissioners, corporate secretary, and firma age. The result shows that simultaneously all independent variables have significant influence to corporate environmental disclosure. Whereas partially, firm size and firm age have significantly influence to corporate environmental disclosure. The implication of this research is the larger of the firm size and the longer firm will make a better corporate environmental disclosure in companies that listed at Jakarta Islamic Index.DOI: 10.15408/aiq.v8i2.3158

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh likuiditas, leverage, profitabilitas, aktivitas, dan kepemilikan institusional terhadap financial distress. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah likuiditas yang diukur menggunakan current assets, leverage yang diukur menggunakan debt to assets ratio, profitabilitas yang diukur menggunakan net profit margin, aktivitas yang diukur menggunakan turn assets turn over, dan kepemilikan instusional diukur menggunakan rasio antara jumlah saham yang dimiliki pihak institusi terhadap total saham yang beredar pada perusahaan. Variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini adalah financial distress yang diukur menggunakan model Altman Z-Score modifikasi.  Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor perdagangan, jasa, dan investasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2018-2021. Sampel perusahaan dalam penelitian ini adalah 101 perusahaan selama 4 tahun dan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 404 observasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi data panel dengan aplikasi EViews 12. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa likuiditas, profitabilitas, dan aktivitas berpengaruh positif terhadap financial distress. Leverage berpengaruh negatif terhadap financial distress. Sementara kepemilikan instiusional itu tidak berpengaruh terhadap financial distress.
