Abstract

The purpose of this study wa to determine the conditions of working capital, accpunts receivable, and profitability management at PT. Benny Surabaya Trans. The subjects used in this study were companies engaged in shipping services throughout Indonesia, namely PT. Benny Surabaya Trans. The object of this research is to analyze working capital management, accounts receivable management, profitability management during the Covid-19 pandemic. The type of research is descriptive quantitative. The calculation of wprking capital turonover accurs as a result of instability due to descreasing current liabilities so that it is not effective for working capital. The receivable turnover calculation id accordance with the company standard which is set twice a mont for receivables turnover so that it is effective and runs well. The calculation of return on assets is volatile due to increases and decreases in net income which are not considered by rhe manager so that it is ineffective, which means that profitability management is also closely relates to working capital management and receivables management.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on the profitability, liquidity, and activity ratios of retail trade sub-sector companies listed on the IDX for the period 2019-2020. This research data was obtained before and when the covid-19 pandemic occurred. The data was processed using the Wilcoxon test. The population in this study were 25 retail trade sub-sector companies. By using purposive sampling, the number of samples is determined to be 24 companies in the retail trade sub-sector. The results of this study indicate that there are significant differences in company profitability before and when the covid - 19 pandemic occurred. Meanwhile, in liquidity and activity, there were no significant differences before and during the covid - 19 pandemic.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify influence of Operating Leverage (DOL), Financial Leverage(DFL), Current Ratio (CR), and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) to Earning Per Share (EPS) on Telecommunication Companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2014-2019. This research was conducted descriptive, using quantitative descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of documentation studies and literature studies. The data analysis technique used classical assumption test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The result of this study is indicated 1) Operating Leverage (DOL) has a positive and significant effect on Earning Per Share (EPS); 2) Financial Leverage (DFL) has a negative and significant effect on Earning Per Share (EPS); 3) Current Ratio (CR) has a negative not significant effect on Earning Per Share (EPS); 4)Total Asset Turnover (TATO) has a positive and significant on Earning Per Share(EPS); 5) Operating Leverage (DOL), Financial Leverage (DFL), Current Ratio (CR), and Total Asset turnover (TATO) affect the Earning Per Share (EPS).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of working capital elements consisting of cash turnover, receivables turnover, and inventory turnover on profitability (ROA) in pulp and paper sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2020. This study uses quantitative methods with sampling technique using purposive sampling. This study uses secondary data with multiple regression analysis. The hypothesis of this research is the effect of cash turnover, receivables turnover, and inventory turnover has a positive and significant effect on profitability partially and simultaneously. The conclusions of this study are (1) the cash turnover variable (X1) has a negative and insignificant effect on profitability (2) The receivables turnover variable (X2) has a negative and insignificant effect on profitability (3) The inventory turnover variable (X3) has a positive and no positive effect. significant on profitability (4) Variables cash turnover, accounts receivable turnover, and inventory turnover does not simultaneously affect profitability.

Abstract

Differential cost analysis is used as a tool to measure how much income and costs are incurred if the business owner chooses one alternative decision. Differential costs are costs incurred as a result of selecting certain alternative decisions. Making the right decision will help a business in obtaining maximum profit. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The data used in this study were obtained by direct observation and interviews with business owners. The purpose of this study is to find out the right decision chosen by UD. Sumber Jaya to increase profits. The differential cost analysis used is an alternative decision between buying or making your own and selling directly or processing further. The results of the differential cost analysis show that the right and more profitable decision that can be chosen by business owners is to make their own because the difference in profit is 47% higher than buying from outside suppliers. While the alternative decision to sell directly or process further, the right and more profitable decision that can be chosen by business owners is to process further because the profit earned increases by 87% compared to selling directly.
