Abstract

This research aims to develop multimedia learning based on problem based learning on force and movement material for fourth grade elementary school students. The method used in this research is the research and development or R&D method. Meanwhile, the research model used refers to the ADDIE research model. The ADDIE model has five stages, namely, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research was conducted at SDN Mojoroto 4, Kediri city with a total of 26 students as test subjects. The research instruments used in this research were observation guidelines, expert validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires and test questions. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been carried out, the level of validity, practicality and effectiveness of the product can be determined. The average product validity test results obtained a score of 87.5% with very valid criteria, the product practicality test results based on teacher responses obtained a score of 94% with very practical criteria, while the product effectiveness test results showed that the learning multimedia developed was effectively used to improve results. Student learning on force and motion material shows a student classical score of 84. Based on the results of the research and development that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the product developed is suitable for use in science learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Keluarga merupakan lingkungan pertama dan utama bagi anak. Peran keluarga sangat diharapkan mampu mengem- bangkan aspek-aspek pada anak khususnya dalam belajar dan pendidikan anaknya. Peran keluarga dalam situasi pandemi seperti saat ini sangat penting bagi kelancaran kegiatan belajar mengajar daring antara guru dan anak. Anak dalam belajar tanpa ada pendampingan yang dibe- rikan keluarga dapat menyebabkan kegiatan belajarnya terhambat dan mengalami sejumlah kendala, sehingga dalam upaya mencapai prestasi sulit untuk diwujudkan. Situasi pandemi saat ini memaksa anak belajar dari rumah secara daring, maka banyak hal berbeda dengan belajar dibandingkan dengan belajar dalam situasi normal. Maka disinilah peran keluarga sangat penting dalam membe- rikan pendampingan belajar anak terutama anak usia SD di masa pandemi covid 19.

Abstract

Thematic learning in elementary schools is conducted by integrating several subjects or basic competencies through specific themes/topics. Thematic learning in elementary schools plays a crucial role in facilitating more meaningful learning for students according to their developmental levels and needs. This study employs a qualitative approach with a literature review (library research) design. The data collection technique applied was documentation, where data were obtained from various written sources, such as notes, books, journals, and other relevant documents. Meanwhile, to analyze the data, the researcher used content analysis to explore and interpret the meaning of the examined material. The results indicate that thematic learning, conceptually, aims to develop students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities in a balanced manner through authentic learning activities based on real-life contexts in their surroundings. Thus, thematic learning in elementary schools can provide more meaningful and experiential learning for students.
